What is UNDEAD & BEYOND?
Undead & Beyond is a game where you reanimate the death and cause chaos!
Take control of Dr. Beyond in his quest to escape the facility! Use the products of your research to create an army of the undead and cause havoc in the complex while you aim to accomplish your objectives to reach the next area. Use a wide range of methods to advance further, from creating undead that will attack the facility staff, to using gadgets or simply using stealth to pass through the guards without being noticed. But careful, the facility guards could call for reinforcements.
- Revive your enemies as fierce undead!
- Use items to support your undead forces or carefully killing key targets.
- Increase the hazard level to spawn deadlier mutants!
- Watch the undead rip apart the opposition with brutal death animations
- The NPCs are AI driven, every time you play is a different experience.

Undead & Beyond is an unusual kind of hybrid of soldier defense/attack combined with 2D top down brawler and action/adventure game elements... which sounds complicated but it's really a good idea for a game, implemented terribly. The idea is that you're a mad scientist and your bosses are trying to kill you, so you need to escape the lab bunker complex thing. But you're a wimpy, if deranged scientist, so how to go about this? Zombies, of course. Conveniently, your minions don't try to kill you, so you can go ahead and make as many zombies as possible. While the zombies are murdering all the guards and other scientists, you can go about your other jobs like collecting briefcases and working out how to escape. One important note is that even though this is an amateur project, it does seem to be sincerely and genuinely made. I couldn't find any flipped assets, plagiarism or any other kind of insincere actions from the developer, but unfortunately genuine intentions alone are not enough to produce a brilliant PC gaming experience. A zippy little zombie game with a villain-protagonist. You're an 'evil' scientist that needs to escape your facility, which is under attack by law enforcement bent on interrupting your research. You escape by outright murdering scientists and cops, and then raising them from the dead as zombies to assist in your bloody flight to freedom through your maze-like lab. There are a variety of weapons and gadgets to employ and a small variety of zombies to raise. It's fast paced, enjoyable, and a bit more difficult than I had expected. I would not have been upset had I paid full price, but I got it here on Steam for a sale price of $0.71 USD. That's a steal and a no-brainer purchase if you enjoy the genre!2 found this helpful

its fun and challenging, with a damn good game play loop. only gripes are: the game is short and there's not a lot of replay-ability the item pickup and displays are bugged I say, for the price its pretty good and worth picking up.hope they'll be more updates in the future, like a new game plus or DLC that expands the game play.1 found this helpful
