About Under Pressure
In the abyss, the Diver meets the Kraken! To survive he will have to reach the surface!
Each card represents a progression stage, from the abyss #0 to the surface #42.
Goals:
- Diver wants to reach the surface, he starts from card #0 and can step up to 3 stages max per turn
- Kraken wants to catch him by guessing all he's played cards. Kraken can guess up to 3 cards per turn.
Gameplay:
- Diver can use boosts by sacrificing a card. It can extend step by +2 per sacrificed card! It can be used to play far cards or to trick Kraken!
- Kraken can guess multiple cards each turn, but if one is wrong, guess is failed! It helps to catch Diver faster but might be risky!
Cards are distributed in three decks according to their value: 1-14, 15-28, 29-41.
Pick wisely and you may win the game!
Under Pressure is and adaptation of Tim Fowers's card game "Fugitive".

wish there was more of a tutorial. Its hard to understand how to play. however the art is beautiful, and this seems like a game where if/once you catch on there is no stopping you.2 found this helpful

I guess no tutorial nor bots is part of the excitement.
The art is great and the mechanics I hadn't seen before, I found it very original. It did take me a couple of runs to understand how it worked, but once you have it, it's very addictive. I loved it!
The tutorial doesnt explain what the kraken does very well, theres some slight english translation errors. But once you understand the game it is a very engaging game of bluff and deception. Would be amazing if you could do multiplayer.
