Undercover (2026)

Sure, it's not going to win anyone's hearts on length, but for a busy person who has limited time finish anything (games, books, shows, movies, etc) this was the perfect length for me. The sets, production value, and acting is top notch. People said its too similar to Infernal Affairs, but who cares...when did HK produce an original production anyway? It's like Hollywood, recycling their (and other countries') best ideas over and over. I hope this does well so we can get more Cantonese speaking games set in HK.

good job Mary
Actually Pretty Amazing -- 8 / 10
Some may decry this title for being fairly short and/or not having a lot of interactivity to speak of; however I believe the full scope of content and the production value on display here are well-worth the asking price of admission. (especially back with the release discount) Competently filmed with a wide variety of vibrant set-pieces, as well as an all-around great to excellent cast (many of which are famous HK film and TVB stars, see if you can spot them all!) -- the game gives us a short (circa 5-6 hrs if not going for every ending) but unique spin on the age-old undercover cop trope; and what it really means to be caught on both sides of the law and the costs associated with living in the shadows to serve the light. The story and plot may not be as deep as some of the titans of this sub-genre, however is competent enough and whilst there are indeed clichés that many would recognize popping up from here and there -- which, what some might denounce as outright copying; I would say to be intended as loving homages to a cinematic era long past. The entire game reads quite obviously as a love letter to the so-called 'golden…

too short, and it's not even considered a game....just watching clips after clips.... if u just take it as watching a Movie.......but it cost much more than a movie ticket...and it has no big actors.

mediocre plot

Another hit from Intiny. The Hong Kong setting is beautifully recreated it has that authentic, gritty golden-era movie feel that fits the undercover story perfectly. The story is gripping, the atmosphere is thick with tension, and the cast does a fantastic job. If Intiny ever turns this into a series or movie, I'd watch it in a heartbeat. Highly recommended.
