UnderMine 2

It's a lot of fun, and pretty good at being a sequel (the mechanics are drastically expanded beyond the original Undermine, but the old core gameplay loop is still basically intact in there, it's just not the only thing going on anymore). You can definitely feel the Early Access right now, there are some places where it's like "it would be weird if there wasn't eventually more content here" (each run goes through 5 zones, the first 2 let you choose between 2 different options every run, the last 3 only have one option), and there are some balance issues (between the recently introduced Sho'guul and Order, it is dramatically easier and really just better to go for Order's path over Sho'guul's). But I'm still having a blast, I definitely don't feel like I needed to wait for the full release. Overall, if you liked Undermine, you'll almost certainly love Undermine 2, and if you never played Undermine, but you've played things in its general genre, you'll probably like Undermine 2.

Slow and repetitive. The progression loop per-run is not interesting, and there seem to be very few synergies between relics to much other than stack one stat and hope you get items favoring that stat.

Quality game

First Undermine was awesome, and this one is shaping up to be even better. Looking forward to the final product!

I am not sure why people complain about it being different from the first game. It is almost identical with a lot of improvements and additional content. Plus coop is a great feature.

before you play it please watch Youtube abt the game so you know a bit more Short answer: Characters: 10/10 every one has different playstyle Gameplay: 10/10 I would play run after the other without getting bored Visuals: 10/10 I love pixel art Replayable?: EXTREMELY YES and you will constantly unlock more stuff itching you to try again. Random info: I sometimes take 30 mins to 40 mins on average runs, but I tend to be slow to enjoy music and visuals, if you min max you will take a lil bit more than that. Long answer: This is probably one of the only games that I am actively trying a new build and get extreme fun with it. Very fun gameplay loop. I would say its a perfect mix between Dead Cells (skill wise, you don't need a good build to win, just try to be good) and The Binding of Isaac (gameplay wise, rooms, floors, secret rooms, item rooms) if you played these games you'd know what I mean, I love it so much! it also has 2 player couch coop if you are interested. I only played solo and having a blast. All the best.
