Unplugged is an innovative and engaging 2.5D co-op puzzle-platformer that truly shines when it comes to creativity and teamwork. As a fan of indie games, I was thoroughly impressed by its unique mechanics, clever level design, and the cooperative challenges that pushed me and my friend to think outside the box. The Good Stuff: -Unique Plug Mechanics The core gameplay revolves around plugging and unplugging to activate robots and interact with the environment, all the while managing your wire length. It’s a fresh idea that keeps puzzles dynamic and makes teamwork essential. -Abilities and Upgrades The variety of abilities, like the doppelganger and Gravity toggle, adds a ton of depth to the gameplay. We loved experimenting with different combinations to see how they’d help us overcome puzzles. The Magnet ability, for instance, led to some really fun and chaotic moments with plugs and wires flying around -Level Design The sci-fi lab environment is beautifully crafted with a lot of attention to detail. Levels gradually introduce mechanics, so we never felt overwhelmed, and the difficulty curve was well-balanced. There were several aha! moments where we felt really smart solving puzzl…6 found this helpful
Its a chaotic co-op adventure that will test your puzzle solving skills... and sometimes your friendship! The plug mechanics and the upgrades led to quite some hilarious moments, like turning off the hologram materialzer to throw my pal in the electric fence below and then redoing the whole level. The visuals and the scifi lab setting is great, but the story is almost non existent. Some puzzles are really confusing and required a lot of yelling at each other to figure out. The occasional bugs we ran into only added to the hilarity! If you are looking for a game thats fun, requires teamwork and a lot of yelling at your friend, this one does the job.2 found this helpful
An excellent game and worth trying and I hope it has a second part and more ideas in the puzzles 👍1 found this helpful
Coop doesn’t work on steam deck. Only one character can be controlled.1 found this helpful
Very fun game, enjoyed a lot playing with my friend. I experienced some minor bugs, but nothing that ruined our gameplay.
