Unruly Ghouls

Yet another wave shooter. But guess what? This one is actually fun to play. I got this game on the Halloween sale for $2.49. I can happily say that that in the ~15 minutes of playing this game, that I already got my money's worth. I think kids especially would love this, but even as an adult, I enjoyed it. So the ghosts appear 180 degrees in front of you, which means you can play sitting or standing. You have one gun and one vacuum contraption (which you can switch to a gun), and you suck the ghosts into the vacuum after injuring them with your gun just like Ghostbusters. Slimer and the marshmallow man are missing though (very disappointing there). There are several ghost types. And after the first two waves, the action gets very hectic. I have not been able to beat the boss ghosts yet. The gunplay is responsive and feels good. I suggest just holding the trigger down as you do have unlimited ammo and there is no reloading. There are 3 maps, you unlock the 2nd map when you score more than 2,000 points in the first map, which wasn't too difficult for me. There are also leaderboards. My only complaint is that I wish there were more different guns that did differen…

Its a playable static shooter with a twist, in one hand you have a gun and in the other a 'vacuum' and you must hurt the ghosts enough so you can suck them up (kill them) while also protecting 4 beacons from damage - if all 4 get damaged you're done for. It is good for a dollar I'll say that, but you probably won't play for longer than a couple of hours, kids may enjoy it more.

+Nice graphics +/-Decent price? -It's yet another wave shooter -It gets to a point where it's so hectic the guns literally can't shoot fast enough to hit what's coming at you. 2.5/5 I would give this a Neutral/Informative rating if i was able to. Good concept and some people might like it, but it's ANOTHER wave shooter that doesn't bring much new to the table. And gets so hectic that the guns they give you can't even hope to keep up with how slow they trigger. The "Ghostbusters" like ghost transparency effect is missing on the (horribly outdated ?) screenshots : Watch the game trailer instead. If your VR space is too small for you to dodge in, if you're more old and smart then you're young and fast, if you want something casual non-gamers can also enjoy playing (not too intense, no jumpscares, fun and safe for children to play...), while still getting a challenge unlocking the trophies for yourself... Then this wave shooter kind of fits when and where the other wave shooters don't. So basically NOT recommended for a teenage gamer with super fast reflexes and a big VR space to move around in, but instead recommended for everyone else : If you're too old, too young, too casual or simply don't have enough VR space to enjoy the other ones.

Great wave shooter...ranks with the others SPT...BOTU...Really polished and plays very nice. You get a good Ghostbusters feeling and catch on fast..
