3rd person shooter where you see the game from above kinda like watching a tabletop game. You character follows your movements, so where you aim with your hand the little guy aims on the "board", its quite original as i cant recall another game that uses this kind of game mechanics, at the same time its quite hard even with the lasers to help you aim. The game is split in a few "rooms" where you have to kill all enemies for the gates to open, then you pick the next room you want to move to, like the old classic "Smash Tv" (if you ever played it). I reached the Boss a few times, but he was a bit too difficult, no idea what happens if i beat him. Overall i liked the originality of the mechanics, graphics where simple but worked fine, music was great. I wish this was developed further, because i totally see the potential. Recommended because its a fun Free Game that i think is worth your time at least for a couple of runs.

Puppet Blaster is a 3D rendered VR exclusive 2D top down wave survival shooter where you control what looks like some low poly/asset flipped cowboy thing and shoot zombies because, you know, I guess zombie asset packs are easy to get your hands on if you can't do video game graphics. The game seems to have been slapped together with the Unity TopDown asset pack/engine from More Mountains with some other flipped assets on top and the control scheme changed for VR. Asset flipping stuff but still using low poly assets is a lot like going shoplifting but just shoplifting the cheap store brand stuff when you could just as easily get something with some quality. It never makes sense to me. This seems to have been made a VR exclusive to prevent any comparison with non-VR 3D games, a comparison that this game would fail very badly at. Developers must learn that while VR is great, if the only thing that makes the game great is the VR, then the game isn't great at all. Imagine a game so bad that it was made VR exclusive, in the hopes that would prevent people playing it and comparing it to professionally developed games. Игра "Puppet Blaster" - это безумный и увлекательный шутер, полный хаоса и взрывов. Главная прелесть игры - это ее абсурдность и нарочитая глупость. Управляя вооруженной до зубов марионеткой, вы разносите в щепки толпы врагов, используя арсенал, достойный самых безумных фантазий. Графика может показаться устаревшей, но это добавляет игре особого шарма, напоминая о классических аркадах. Геймплей прост, но затягивает: беги, стреляй, уклоняйся и собирай бонусы. Чем дальше проходишь, тем сильнее становится безумие происходящего на экране. Оружие, начиная от банальных пулеметов и заканчивая лазерами и гранатометами, позволяет устраивать настоящие феерии разрушения. Несмотря на свою простоту, в игре есть достаточное количество контента, чтобы увлечь на несколько часов. Разнообразные враги, боссы, уникальные локации и возможность улучшать свою марионетку делают геймплей реиграбельным. "Puppet Blaster" - отличный выбор для тех, кто ищет ненапряжный и взрывной способ скоротать время. Это настоящий антистресс, позволяющий выпустить пар.

This game controls so poorly I'm not sure If I'll play much more of it but it is free even if the aiming is strange. Really strange. The fact I can't aim behind me without turning my body around is bad because if I do that, I'm no longer looking at the battle. you need to run in a full circle to aim behind yourself and in a game like this that means you need to be able to rotate and move many times per battle. maybe several times per enemy if you are doing it correctly. I can recommend this more as a oddity than as a game. the controls are just so bad, but interesting at the same time.
