About UpWakeNing
You're stuck in a sleep paralysis. Everything seems real and feels like you're wide awake, but you can't move. For every blink you make, the more surreal it becomes. Inevitably, you sink into a nightmare, you're stuck inside a box, and you can't get out. You need to wake up! UpWakeNing is a challenging jumping platformer. You need to wake up, and to do so you need to climb to the highest point in the nightmare in which you reside in. Be careful though, for every unlucky slip, the less sane you might become.

-A high-stake jumping platform game
A game where only you are responsible for the outcome. You are your own enemy and hero. The only way is up and with every successful jump, the higher the tension rises as one mistake can mean a long fall, a true nightmare.

-Two levels
While the two levels are somewhat identical, if you are to beat the first level, you get to enjoy the second level with the ability to double jump!
Journey back in the hellish place that nearly made you insane, and calmly laugh away how you were stuck at a certain place, and blaze through it with the double jump.
-Physics
Angle, velocity, rotation and gravity is a thing. You will quickly realize this.

-Hold to charge and jump
Can you master something as simple as jumping with the right amount of power, let alone account for angles, velocity and the rotation when you jump?
-Preparation is your best asset
When you're in the air, you cannot change the path you have chosen.

Enjoy or despair at the sleep paralysis, nightmare and what its world has to offer.

An absolute blast in the "I can't tell if this feeling is joy or righteous fury" type of way. It's incredibly fun, incredibly difficult, and incredibly satisfying once you finally overcome the obstacles in your way. I can't recommend it enough if you're a fan of rage games or platformers.3 found this helpful
Great indie game :)3 found this helpful
Great simple game in the spirit of Getting Over It and Jump king!2 found this helpful
A really fun and infuriating game.2 found this helpful
Upwakening is a foddian game where your cursor determine where you go, and spacebar for your power. The minus in the control is that full power doesn't automaticly launch you so you can lose a lots of time from that and memorising when its full power is harder. The map design can be really punishing at times which can be frustrating since there is no way to be faster and like i said its hard to gauge the full jump. You can also remember where you put your cursor to help you do some part but that mean it remove part of the difficulty that makes what foddian games are. I would rate this a 5/10 but steam doesn't have a middle review
Not the best looking game but I enjoyed this jumping game! Anyone who loved Jump King will love this game too. The process of learning jumps is very similar to Jump King, but it has different mechanic that Jump King doesn't have. (First playthrough - 240 minutes, second playthrough 18 minutes.) The narrator's acting feels very cheap. But having a good jumping feeling outweighs any visual and audio deficiencies. + For a reasonable amount of suffering, you'll get the good feeling of beating the game. - I miss restart button. Voice acting.
