About Vanakatu

This is an open-world story about VAN CAT (that's his name, no affiliations with vehicles), a duduk player from a regular family, who tracks down his CULT-LEADING UNCLE through spacetime to talk him out of creating a WORLDWIDE DICTATORSHIP!!!

Explore three surreal, immersive worlds swirling with music, light and color, inspired by the Ottoman Empire, Soviet Armenia and modern day Armenia to rescue your best friend, talk some sense to your weird, weird uncle, and destroy his time machine.

This Game Includes:

Unique visuals by the developer herself
Beautiful music
Sunlight and other cute lighting to make it feel like you're actually outside and touching grass
Battling mechanics
Puzzle solving, using pattern recognition to unlock doors and find hidden keys...
Open world exploration, I don't want to control you :D

Incredible game, the vision, the art style, the music, and a very beautiful window to experience Armenian culture as well. Huge potential and cant wait for the creator to one day release the full version!

Incredibly creative game, definitely first time I played rock, paper or scissors in in a game, let alone with a cat. Enjoyed it and I will revisit it! Keep up the good work!

Recommended May 18, 2025

Like others said, good concept, good ideas, very good presentation.... very glitchy!
