About Vaporspace
Explore the endless Vaporspace. A SHMUP inspired by idle games, RPGs and vaporwave. Defeat enemies and bosses in easy relaxing stages or challenge yourself to gain more upgrades, levels, power-ups and artifacts to strive for the highest stages!
Randomly generated stages and fast paced gameplay keep the game diverse with several variations of enemies, attacks, and even more for scenery.
Visit rainy skyscrapers, twilight ruins, future utopias, pixel worlds, virtual skies, luxurious libraries, nostalgic simulations, fragmented vistas, abandoned subways, dream galaxies, moonlit glaciers, digital dojos and many more.
- Amazing soundtrack by Doomroar and Stevia Sphere.
- 29 Ships each with an auto-fire primary attack, and 2 special abilities.
- Summon 3 helper ships to increase your firepower or just to play with friends.
- Set helpers to follow, stay in a certain part of the screen, or even collect items for you.
- Millions of potential level/scenery combos, variations, and permutations.
- Backup save system and Steam Cloud saving. Save to %appdata%\Roaming\vaporsave
- 97 In-game/Steam Achievements
- Ongoing: Help decide what will be added to the game! I want to add more ships, enemies, attack patterns, areas and more.

I am surprised how little sales they had. Vaporspace has fantastic music - it's a genre I didn't know about, like the title, Vaporspace. It's synth-like music. The graphics look strange but again it has to do with Vaporspace culture - look it up if you are not aware of this (I wasn't). This game has an hypnotic / psychedelic effect on you that is hard to describe. Many ships and upgrades. If you like shoot-em-ups and synth music, it's for you.5 found this helpful
The hours fly by with Vaporspace... So many ships and abilities to explore. And one of the coolest features is the control over how your growth fluctuates; whether you wanna make more money or level up faster...there's ways...o-ho, there's ways. Bonus: The game is super relaxing... It's like Yoga for the eyeballs2 found this helpful
This is a true hidden gem! It really reminds me of LSD: Dream Emulator with its 90s artstyle and the random looking backgrounds. For 4 Euro its an amazing game. Buy it!1 found this helpful
