Vedelem: The Golden Horde

A really boring one that the battle pace are too long and boring, that all you gonna facing are endless timer upon timer, you need to build building then watching the must be the most boring process to wait the gather part of the resource, it's like developer really hate player to enjoy the battle excited so put a timer then forcing the player to wait till spawn some horde into player eyes, this game not even close beta finish and far away and need many improvement.

I've always heard and known the Mongolian invasions were devastating, but I think this game gives me a better grasp on exactly how difficult it was (just at the end of the NORMAL difficulty in the skirmish mode; I thought I was pretty set and then they came in like a TSUNAMI, and it was too late to muster up any EFFECTIVE extra resistance). I recommend this both for the experience and because it's free- the only price is that you possibly might sink a LOT of hours into this.

Fun little freeware game about building up a small slavic village and defending it against the mongol invasion. Very simplistic but still fun, it just lacks a little spice as you usualy just expand your economy while holding off mongol raiders that throw themselves against your walls until you got a gigantic army to survive the endgame where you suddenly get assualted by tens of thousands of horsemen. Things like mongol sige artilery that bomb your walls and forces you to sally out would have given the midgame a bit more depth because once you have walled yourself in there is very little to do exept spaming houses and building more troops. appart from that and that units would often clip through walls, this game is fun, perfect for people that like a simple RTS game that you can play on and off for half an hour.

Затягивает с головой, особенно когда продумываешь каждый шаг, ведя свою орду к мировому господству. Игра требует вдумчивости и терпения, но награждает за это глубоким погружением в исторический сеттинг и возможностью создать свою собственную летопись завоеваний.
