Since 2015 we have a Vegan Burger Place called Vegangster in town. Didnt know you folks are also now in the Videogame industry. Will eat first and play later. Go vegan.

Basically every enemy uses anti deck fixing tactics, they add cards to your deck. Also the moves the enemies can do seem to scale to quickly to what you can do. I understand that you can level up, but that seems grindy. I really enjoy the art direction of the game and the narrative but the enemies tactics don't feel very fun to me.

Super fun game! The music and art style are full of charm and perfectly immerse you in the criminal theme. The mechanics are easy to learn, and the variety of cards and strategies makes me want to jump into run after run. Highly recommended, tons of gameplay for a more than reasonable price.

At long last, my love of gangster movies and anthropomorphic produce have finally come together in a videogame! A game unfortunately called... Vegangsters. Horrible right? Well don’t let the bad name scare you off. There’s a lot of fun to be had with this Rogue-lite, Deck-battler, even if the name sucks. It’s a Turn-based, Strategy, Card game featuring a unique setting and a quirky art style. But what really makes the game awesome, is the racing meter at the top of the screen. During combat you and your opponent race to checkpoints where you play your attack or defense cards. Every card you play speeds you up or slows you down. This game mechanic adds an extra layer of strategy when deciding what card to play next. Very original, very fun! The game is a little short, with limited enemies to battle. But the main problem with the game is it’s title. Vegangsters? Really? I guess that’s supposed to be a portmanteau of vegan gangsters? Which doesn’t make sense, because there are no vegans in this game. There’s personified vegetables, but they aren’t eating each other. Now that I think about it, gangsters is a misnomer as well. The enemies you battle are thugs and street toughs but they …

1.0 Looked like a fun game based on screenshots. Very boring and there are no tooltips either, unimaginative cards and no flavor for the cards. No puns, nada. It gets better, but the onboarding, lack of tooltips or any way to check your cards or the effects outside of battle is unacceptable in my view. Otherwise it is a challenging game, definitely difficult. 1.1 this game is either buggy as hell, or the game just does not tell you that opponents will change their actions based on what you do the moment you do it, so there is no way to know what prompted the change. The opponents have no bestiary, but on top of that I cannot even figure out how much speed matters since the order of action is not indicated at all. It feels like a game that was made by idiots, like seriously. What is the point of a deckbuilder if you can't see who does what and when. Like this game should be a 0.2 version. Terrible game.

I had to refund. The review (I don't know why it was recommended) by Oncus https://steamcommunity.com/id/Oncus/recommended/2449390/ is seconded here. One other drawback is the resolution on steam deck is off and no responses in the community hub.
