About Veiled Tales
Ancient folk tale comes to life and unexpectedly, village trip to grandfather’s house turns into a deadly nightmare. Unleash the mystery of mountains with Demetre by travelling and meeting new people. Dive into a wild forest, hunt down animals, sell the meat and obtain money.
“Veiled Tales” is an immersive adventure game set in a picturesque Georgian mountain village. In this 3rd person modern time game, you'll experience Georgia by fitting in Demetre's character. Players immerse themselves in the charm of Georgia’s architecture and language as spoken by the characters. Players' objective is to ultimately reveal secret of Demetre's brother's disappearance. Throughout the journey he faces diverse difficulties and obstacles, helps out villagers, gathers information and acquires ancient, inherited weapon.
The first project by Georgian Game Development startup "Surreal Genesis". With this modest-size project we sincerely showcase our abilities as a starting point in this field. This is only the beginning of our long, indefatigable and hard journey. Stay tuned!

მექანიკა ძაან ცუდია, მაპი მგონი არ არსებობს, გრაფიკა და ატმოსფერო საშინელია. დაუსრულებელი თამაში არუნდა გამოგეშვათ, გასაგებია რომ პირველია, მაგრამ მაინც ჯობდა კარგად გაგეკეთებინათ და მერე გამოგეშვათ ან საერთოდ არ გამოგეშვათ. წამოწყება კარგია მაგრამ იმედია შემდეგში გაითვალისწინებთ რჩევებს.

"Veiled Tales" is a low key asset flip, a bunch of other people's assets assembled badly to make a basic game, typically this kind of thing is done by amateur developers without sufficient budget, talent and/or staff to do the job of game development professionally. It's then quickly rushed into Steam Direct. And, unsurprisingly, this never results in a product with any quality, interest, or value for gamers. This is a very badly slapped together collection of assets from a failed studio in Georgia (the country, not the state in the USA). It's a badly done cludge of a third person action/brawler with adventure game elements as you plod through a badly told Georgian folklore storyline, punctuated by some of the comically worst voice acting ever to assault the ears. As a showcase for an indie studio, it shows why this studio never had any hope. No optimisation, it's a janky mess. No testing, it's a bug infested train wreck. Basic things in the game like the settings menus, some of the weapons etc just don't work. So, the game might look better than you'd expect from an amateur project, but this is because it's partially or completely made up of stock assets, "borrowed" fro…
