A creative indie rhythm game where you play along with your own music, an interesting concept. The procedural levels and rewind mechanic are neat, but the visuals can feel like a psychedelic trip and the gameplay becomes repetitive quickly. The evil orbs are meant to represent the capitalist, corporate side of the music industry, while your character is an up-and-coming artist just trying to express his frustration.

For a game made by graduate students, I can appreciate the effort that's gone into this project. It's an experimental fever dream that plays around with different aesthetics, which changes the music played in certain ways, but keeps the gameplay flow consistent. It's ambitious, but some of the art style changing power ups can change the whole visual vibe so dramatically, that it can throw you off the gameplay completely. Sometimes it's cool and stylish, other times it's a blurry, near blinding experience. One cool feature however is that you can add your own music to the game.

It has some issues but it is relatively easy 100% achievos, and the idea is cool, even though I don't 100% like the implementation, some combo of swinging and swerving and balls suddenly in your face... hmm... well you do have a rewind and a special move so... doable.
