Seems interesting but.. I'm somewhat of a noob and I'm sticking to 4k. The default nº of keys are far too many D: Unless that changes (which is unlikely).. it will stay uninstalled.

MusicWave is a rhythm game that combines electronic dance music with an unusually demanding keyboard control scheme. Developed by Stephen Joseph and published by PUREHEART, it distinguishes itself from many rhythm games by using ten keys across the keyboard rather than limiting the player to a small collection of buttons. The underlying objective remains familiar: follow incoming notes, press the corresponding input at precisely the right moment, maintain a streak, and push for the highest possible score. Its straightforward premise makes it easy to understand, although becoming genuinely proficient requires considerably more practice. The ten-key system is the defining feature. Inputs are arranged around the keyboard's home row, allowing players to keep their hands in a relatively natural typing position. While this sounds simple, tracking ten possible notes during faster sequences can become surprisingly difficult. Early attempts can feel like a mixture of rhythm gaming and touch-typing practice, as players must recognize patterns without constantly looking down at the keyboard. I don't like playing MusicWave because there is a delay in pushing the buttons and so it makes the game difficult to complete a full score or obtain a high score. The fast songs are extra difficult.

wasn't able to play a song but thought it was awesome that it stayed open on my pc for 3 days straight after i thought i closed it

I liked the idea of this game when it originally came out, I was actually even in touch with the developer himself through twitter and was excited when it finally came out, but since then it has been completely abandoned, it's sad he was never able to keep working on it and abandoned it.
