I picked up this game because my daughter thought it looked fun. It's a fun platformer with cute character design. My daughter and i would take turns playing. I would kill everything and she would try to jump out of the world. Fun times. The only issues I've had so far is getting stuck in place at the beginning of one of the early boss fights and turning into a ball when i didnt want to. The second one could just be my controller being old though.3 found this helpful
Whimsical and fun lil 3D platformer, great fun to just kick back shoot cute little evil balls. The element-mixing system is a neat quirk and it's fun to experiment with all the combinations and find your favorite weapon. Good stuff!1 found this helpful
Really enjoyable premise and artstyle! The game mechanics are a clear love letter to the original Kirby games, and the unlockable power-ups and enemies are very creative. I also like how the difficulty isn't too hard, but it's not a breeze either; boss challenges are hard, but fair.1 found this helpful
Virballs is a very challenging and fun game! Highly recommended for all ages!1 found this helpful
Virballs feels like a mashup of Kirby and Ratchet & Clank—colorful, chaotic, and full of charm. The elemental combos are clever, the combat stays fresh, and the world design keeps pulling you in. Definitely worth checking out if you like creative platformers with personality.
EDIT: Dev team has easily been one of the most helpful and attentive team ive had the pleasure of being assisted by. They have been very active in resolving my issues and keeping me posted as to when a patch will be available so that i may continue my journey of fun! This game and this team absolutely deserve a thumbs up IMO. I look forward to being able to complete my play through and to see what this game has in stock for the future! Thanks again Devs! So id like to start by saying that though i gave this game a down vote, i absolutely LOVE this game! The only reason i cant recommend the game right now is simply because of a game breaking glitch. So to start there are roughly 6 or 7 planets in the game each with their own unique setting, soundtrack, and enemies/bosses. But in the final mission on planet Vio the game really started bugging out. My weapons had infinite ammo so it would never auto swap back to other weapons when you ran out of ammo. the counter just goes past zero and start counting through the negatives. And i unlocked both poison and fire cleaner in that final mission. It was jarring at first and i was confused how i got them. i continued out the mission and …
