About VRNOID

A perfect combination of genres

Your goal is to destroy all bricks and enemies. Collect dropped power-ups but make sure not to miss a ball. Swing your hand to hit the ball just like in Air Hockey.

Dodge the bullets or return them to enemies

Enemies are trying to shoot your VR head, which takes the challenge to a new level. Dodge bullets or reflect them into the enemy.

In-game level editor and Workshop

Try out your ideas and upload your own levels to the Steam Workshop. Download levels created by other players. Full VR, no need to leave the game or use a mouse.

Extra Features

  • Advanced boss fights: Some bosses are weak at the back, others can't be hit by the ball, etc. Each boss requires a unique approach to defeat it.
  • Air Hockey: additional game mode with few setups and exciting power-ups.
  • Local multiplayer: compete or team up with your friend. Player-2 will play on the monitor using a mouse.
  • Flexible difficulty: 8 gameplay modifiers and 5 game difficulties are available. Play in your own style.
  • Quick room setup: mega easy to calibrate room. Just hold one button to set direction and table height. Several seconds to do!
  • LIV support and smooth camera for creating a great video content.

Players who try VR for the first time can fully enjoy the game. Because everyone knows how to play Air Hockey :). But the real challenge appears when you have to dodge enemy bullets and collect power ups while tracking the ball.

The game is perfect for those who just want to press the "Play" button and immediately get ton of fun and activity. Personally I really don't like spending time on room calibration. Luckily, in VRNOID you just hold the Thumbstick for a few seconds to adjust the height and direction. Additionally, you can play it while sitting or standing.

VRNOID takes the best of arkanoid, VR, and air hockey to create a mesmerizing and exhilarating gaming experience! This fusion of gameplay styles brings a whole new level of fun and immersion. With just a flick of your wrist, you'll find yourself completely immersed in a world of bouncing virtual blocks but beware, there are enemies too. The graphics are stunning, making every level visually captivating. The precision of the controls makes it feel like you're actually holding the paddle in your hands, delivering precise strikes with each swipe. Get ready to lose track of time as you get hooked on this thrilling combination! Gameplay: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AIEaoQ35hQ4
Played on my Meta Quest 2 @MatureContent
This is more fun than it looks. It is essentially Peggle in VR but with a pvp air hockey mode on top of that. The main campaign mode in this game is a lot like Peggle. Each map gets increasingly harder with special effects being introduced over time to mix up the gameplay a bit and not make it too repetitive. Beside the Peggle like mode, there also is a classic air hockey mode where you can play against the AI or other players. I played and enjoyed both modes. I bought this on sale for a few bucks and at that price I can definitely recommend it, but I wouldn’t pay the full 10 bucks they ask for it. It is fun, but there isn’t enough content to keep you playing for more than a few hours at most. ————————————————————————————— Help me out by following my Curator, I’d really appreciate it!!

Wow, such a cool use of VR. I played single player and thoroughly enjoyed it. It really is a perfect mash up of air hockey and brick breaker, with interesting power ups, bosses, and other twists. Totally worth the price.

I enjoy the implementation of Arkenoid, Air Hockey and especially the local multiplayer to bring this out as a social game too. Only complaint i can come up with is nitpicking. (I wish we could change hands without backing out to the start menu when our arms are sore from hover-handing - but plenty of indie devs don't even give left handed options) so i heartily recommend it.

This is great fun!! It really take a new spin on an old classic. It is super intuitive and high energy with a blast of an 80s soundtrack. All the favorites make an appearance... mult-balls, increasing and decreasing of size, etc. Do yourself a favor and grab this game when you can.

Bounce balls, break blocks Ready, get sweat, go. Neon laser assault of the senses. This game needs no apology for its old school arcade heritage. It scratches a retro ThrowBack Thursday itch somewhere between Pinball, Table Tennis and pong, concentrated like raw jelly. It works well. Fast paced. Interesting variations. Only thing I don't get are the scoreboards, but as long as I beat Dr Oculus, that's fine.
