About Into The Noid

✦ AI summary

Break bricks in stylized VR levels where physics-based gameplay evolves from relaxing casual fun into punishing skill challenges, complete with sliding walls, multiple balls, and explosive power-ups. Noid-inspired arcade action meets atmospheric visual design across 16 diverse worlds that deliver cerebral challenge and sensory immersion.

Welcome to a visual and atmospheric, Noid-like arcade experience in this classical brick-breaker genre turned VR.

Including physics-based gameplay and a cerebral visual experience through a host of 16 diverse and atmospheric, stylized levels.

Simple mechanics make for an enjoyable game that's also skill based. It starts as a relaxing, colourful VR romp that's casual then demands higher levels of skill from the player, eventually evolving into a brick-breaker that is as challenging as it is fun. Walls slide closer to the player, multiple balls appear, explosive balls help destroy the bricks while bonuses in the form of extra lives, larger and dual paddles fly at the player.

The levels are visceral and the environments provide ample food for the senses.
Experienced on the Meta Quest 2 & 3
You can view my review & gameplay here: I'm actually being nice by not showing gameplay video. I often do video reviews or gameplay early impressions. Unfortunately, every now and then I run into a game that is so lacking that I just don't want to beat a dead horse. This isn't a good game. I have played many brick breakers in VR. While, I wouldn't say this is the worst brick breaker that I have ever played, it would be close to the bottom. Swinging the racket just doesn't feel right. It feels like a delayed swing. Like there's lag from me swinging it. I don't know if this is a bug or a feature of the game. It feels like I'm swinging a racket underwater. The next problem with the game is that to start, the game points a laser from your racket to the bricks and then it auto-launches towards them. I have never seen it done like this in VR. It's ruins immersion right off the bat. The ball physics isn't very good either. I was also too low to the ground and there wasn't any way for me to fix it. Into The Noid is a paid VR game, that is a break out clone made for VR. It worked on my Index and HTC Vive system, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok. Vaporwave graphics style. Maybe buy on sale, if you looking for a break out like VR game. I got a free key for this from the Steam Curator program. I don't have VR glasses of course, but a friend does, took it to try for fun. I can't say I liked it, but it was an interesting experience. The game is something like a light tennis simulator, we launch the ball, destroy blocks and hit it back. For me the price is overpriced, at least 2 times. You can play, but not for long.

A fun VR action game with a nostalgic feel, featuring a neon style. The gameplay is similar to a light tennis simulator where you launch and hit back balls to destroy blocks. This brick-breaking VR game is level-based with different features in each level. Use your paddle to deflect the bouncing ball into the bricks and clear sets to progress. Powerups help you clear bricks, and there are challenging elements like gravity balls. The game is enjoyable and worth the price.

"'Into The Void' is an exciting adventure that makes you immerse yourself in a world of fantasy and adventure. From the very beginning of the game you will find yourself in a fascinating world full of mysteries and dangers. The graphics in the game amaze with their details and colorfulness, each level is recreated with amazing care, and the atmosphere is fascinating from the first minutes. The gameplay leaves a lot of impressions due to its dynamics and variety of tasks.
