After the decline of magic and mythology, technology and machines rose.there is never a shortage of inhabitants in the dark world. The heirs of these evil wills have been threatening the settlers from earth civilization.

Machine gun is a short-range defense unit, attacks aircraft and footman.
Cannons, artillery and laser are medium-range weapons against heavily armored tanks, robots on the battlefield.
Rocket launcher and Cruise missile are long-range weapons against densely formed zombie legion.
Air defense sites attacks jet fighters beyond-horizon, intercepts starship in space.
Shockers can paralyze the squad on lands.
The laser turret can intercept 3 aircrafts at the same time, e.g. artillery shells, jet fighter, biochemical dragonfly.
Wormholes can weaken the armor of giant war machines, e.g. titan, warship.
Satellite is an advanced defense unit that can boom space fleets.
The main fort unlocks tech level of your camp.
▲ Energy stations generate gold coins within fixed period of time, once placed, they cannot be moved
Defensive buildings can be strengthened and be repaired.
Research institute can upgrade the armor, attack power, and AI of troops. They accumulate energy, release skills(protective shields),strengthen the abilities of machines within range.
Auxiliary sites cannot be upgraded.

You can freely place defensive towers on the map, along the path that raiders come from.

Biochemical spiders and robots are fast-moving units.
War machines, e.g. tanks, titans, battleships, and aircraft carriers are heavy armored.
Air offensive units, e.g. hovering swarms, jet fighters, penetrate defenses from the air and launch missiles to attack
Invisible units will penetrate silently, what you need is a sonar site.
There are electromagnetic special operations units, such as detonators that paralyze targets.
Bomber can carry out dense carpet bombing
The transport aircraft can drop all kinds of combat weapons, e.g. biochemical spiders, robots, tanks, laser cannons, and swarms
▲ Each level has 5 stars. The higher the star level, the more waves the enemy will attack. You need to establish an advantage as soon as possible.
You can select an enemy. When the target is killed, you will get gold coins as a reward.
▲ Unlike the tower defense mode, in the clan battle, as top commander of legions, you need to choose mobile tanks instead of building defensive sites.
Decide the crusade strategy, make a balance between Land and Air Force, heavy armor units and mobility units, then wage wars.

20210819: Tried and it's not bad. Though there is no guidance, you could figure out the way to play this game quite soon. But I do recommend the developer to add tower, skill and user interface introductions into this game, maybe a manual button in the setting menu. Cannot sell or fix buff tower is kinda annoying and the money quickly becomes useless during the late game play even in second stage. Finding and clicking each resource tower to collect coins periodically does not give player a comfort experience, especially when you cannot move these separated towers. A collect-all button may be a good approach. It is especially time consuming at the beginning of each stage for the tedious procedures of placing tower: click build, then wait for tower to fall, then settle the tower to designated location. Repeating this for over 20 times is not fun at all. Usually the problem can be solved by adding an edit mode to quickly place multiple towers, I don't know if it's feasible here. Finally it comes the AI issue, if the enemy is blocked by a wall and a tower is targeting it, the tower will no longer attack any nearby enemies. War Beasts is a low poly/somewhat minimalist 3D rendered tower defense game. Some effort has been put into the game balance and design, but unfortunately many other core aspects of the game were phoned in... not least of which is the glaring lack of a tutorial, and given the somewhat complex tower upgrade and placement system, this is a sorely needed element to make the game accessible. While this does look a bit like it's asset flipped, it doesn't seem to match any of the common templates (namely the Unity Tower Defense tutorial)... it seems this is a genuine and original creation. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. There's no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings. There's no way for gamers to ensure this is running at the native resolution of their displays... there's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. There's no way for gamers to try improve the low quality graphics. The game features lazy low-polygon "retro" assets, making this look like a barely functional 3D game from the 1990s. For the 'On-Offer' Price of around £2.75 GBP (ish), it's 'OK' for a bit of time wasting. Rating*: 7+ Controls: Mouse Only (Left-Click Legend) Complexity: Basic, MOD Support: Not At This Time Notes: Loud, turn it Down in the Internal Settings, and there is NO Pause Button Additional Information: This won't hold your attention for more than 2 Hours if you're anything like me. That said, it's designed for a younger audience and isn't a Finished Product yet. On the Grounds that it's not finished yet, I'd say that one should give it chance. It's OK for just wasting a bit of time while you are waiting for a Phone-Call or something. Beyond that, don't expect to rack up Hundreds of Hours on it, unless you have a Life that is filled with 'Drop the Pad and Dash' Moments. There are no rewards for completing anything, not from what I can tell. You can walk away and not worry about losing, as you're not winning anything. Complexity: You Click Upgrade, and all aspects are improved. The Main Screen is actually the Tutorial Area. Very bad version of tower defense. Very cheap as well. Don't recommend.
