About Warlords Under Siege

They are coming! There are hundreds of them! Prepare your city for defence and do not let them get in! Command your men, build high walls, improve the town buildings, and lead your mighty hero into the middle of the fray!
  • Collect resources to build and improve your city and prepare for a siege!
  • Recruit soldiers to sally forth against your enemies
  • Select your hero and command them to defend key chokepoints. Collect experience points to upgrade them
  • Decide which bonuses to pick at daybreak. Infantry improvements? Faster production? It’s up to you!
  • Build and revise your card deck with upgrades to help you in your next playthrough
Collect gold during the siege. Even if your city falls, you can use it to upgrade your next city! Spend it on unlocking new technologies, improvements, and card packs. Defend longer with each playthrough!
And once you've done ALL that, why not to build your own levels in a level editor?

The game is interesting but has clearly been abandoned after a fake 1.0 release. So many things are still problematic and needs to be fixed. Starting with the balance.

Warlords: Under Siege is a niche, grind-forward strategy game that does what it sets out to do, but won’t be for everyone. The core loop revolves around running short, repeatable campaigns to earn resources that feed your out-of-campaign progression—mainly deck-building and upgrades—so you can tackle tougher missions later. If you enjoy incremental progression, optimizing resource runs, and building synergies over many sessions, you’ll find a satisfying game here. If you expect a tighter, story-driven campaign or continuous new content, this may feel thin. Bottom line: Warlords: Under Siege is fine for players who like tactical, repetitive loops and gradual meta-progression—go in knowing that it’s a resource-grind style ga…

The game is clunky, crashes regularly and doesn't run properly. The hero doesn't deal damage one game in two and the general lack of 'polish' makes this game painful to play. I come back to it every now and again to see if it has improved and thus far it is disappointing to say the least.

Decent game for the high discount price I got it for(would recommend personally for less than 5€). Didn't bore me & relaxed for about 20 hours gameplay.
