I got the game for free because the devs were asking for testers and this is my review of the current build as it stands. I would suggest you get this game if you have the Leap Motion, but hold off for now if you do not. Cons Wands- Aiming is set where you initially pressed down on the controller to start the attack and not when you hand is when you decide to launch it. If I press down on the trigger aiming at the ground then throw my hand up to launch my spell at a flying dude the spell will cast to the ground. To bounce off of the first con, when you are using the flamethrower if you move you hand while casting it the flame stays where you clicked first and does not move with your hand. Pros Wands- Able to aim anywhere at any time, not restricted like leap. Perfect Tracking. Able to set multiple functions to different buttons which allows greater variety for gameplay. Cons Leap- All the instructions are for either Touch or Wands, I had to figure everything about the leap on my own so if I am wrong about certain abilities down below that is because there were no instructions to guide me. The tracking in this game is extremely poor. There is no consistency in how the spells fire off. With the lack of information, settings, and poor tracking in combat, it was an incredibly frustrating experience.
Out of all the VR games I've tried so far this is the most fun. Really awesome and engaging combat system.
Lot's of fun, well worth the price.
