"We are Blob" might as well be a browser/Flash game, so it's not clear why this is on Steam, which is for PC games. Anyway, this is a boring life simulator where you guide the life of a blobfish who lives in an apartment, which shows an astounding lack of understanding from the developers about basic marine biology. It's not very good, it's not very interesting, and it was avoided by gamers on Steam like the plague. The game features really lacklustre 2D visuals (does the developer not know 3D graphics became mainstream in the mid-1990s?). Gamers don't spend thousands of dollars on gaming rigs and the latest 3D graphics cards to play 2D games. Even mobile phones and game consoles can do 3D graphics now. There's no excuse. On the matter of pricing and value for gamers, most "free" games on Steam aren't really free. There's often nasty mobile app cash shops, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of shady pricing schemes that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. This is a incredibly charming, cute, and is quite a short simulator game. Just try it out :) The game is about balancing the aspects of life as a game dev. You have to choose between Developing the game, the social circle of the MC, and most importantly, your health, all while you only have 24 hours to complete your tasks. for a free game, it is really kinda chill, played through it 5 times just to see the dialogues of each failed and success attempts. (even died once cause i thought it really would not happen, sorry blob)

A very short charming game. I liked it. <3

I adore this game. it's adorable and clearly has a lot of love poured into it. It might not be a long game, but that's all the more reason to give it a try! The art is beautiful, the music is calming and pleasing to the brain, and the characters are adorable as well. This game deserves much more attention, it's a joy to play and is free. In these times where the big companies are charging more and more for games with less and less passion put behind them, indie games like these are an absolute blessing and should be appreciated. If you're looking through the reviews and see the negative review from "Obey the Fist", I believe you can fully disregard that review, it brings up arguments that just show a lack of fantasy, nostalgia and appreciation for people's hard work. They have thousands of reviews where they jsut say indie games and 2d games suck. I believe this is a pathetic mindset. Indie games deserve more appreciation in our society where big companies gain more and more control over every market and where gaming is becoming more of a lifestyle that you have to spend thousands on instead of a hobby to relax. This game is great and I will be recommending it to my friends. …
