A charming minimalist adventure with some well-thought puzzles and beautiful music. It's unlike anything you've played before, it took me two hours to complete and it has some satisfying "eureka!" moments, I recommend playing it!3 found this helpful
A game about observing and experimenting with the environment to learn its rules and progress. I'm 1 hour in, the puzzles have been challenging and diversified so far, the minimalistic visuals serve their purpose well and the sound design is simply excellent. From the screenshots, it looks like there is plenty of content left, I'm eager to get back to it! Fully recommended, I hadn't played such a game before!2 found this helpful
Great short game, with unique visuals and uplifting ambient soundtrack. It took me a few minutes to wrap my head around the way the game works, so I encourage anyone who tries this game and don't click right away with it to persevere a little bit, for me at least it was quite rewarding ! A short but delightful puzzle game based on observation. Clever use of its mechanics, it's challenging without getting frustrating. The atmosphere is fantastic, the music and sound design elevate the whole experience. In this aspect, it reminded me of Nomada Studio's game (Neva, GRIS)1 found this helpful
After a demo version it was already convince us, the full confirmed what we thinking. What surround us is an experience it deserve a attention probably it will never got. Play with a headphone to enjoy the incredible sound design work.1 found this helpful
I had a very great experience playing What Surround Us. It's beautiful, it's relaxing, but still provides challenges and impactful moments. The sound design perfectly immerses you in the game. It's a short one but it's definitely a game that i would recommend. You'll deeply enjoy travelling across this small world trying to understand its inhabitants and its ecosystem
