About 留白(WhiteWash)
Welcome to the WhiteWash Gallery!Kitty is a painter who likes to leave white space in her works, and her gallery displays her paintings from a year ago.A year ago, there were too many colors, too many thoughts and too much work in Kitty's life. There is an old legend:"Spirituality is exhausted by repeated work day after day. A spiritually exhausted cat will never be happy."In order to regain her spirituality, the Kitty begins her adventure. The "color sprites” in the paintings are like all kinds of things in trivial life, some good and some sad.The collection of Spirituality requires collecting or eliminating these color spirits in the landscape that changes with the seasons. The game features 48 levels and 12 classic casual puzzle games, such as Zuma, Match-Three, Bubble Bobble and so on.Follow Kitty on a year, season, and 12-month adventure!I hope you, too, can regain your spirituality and happiness like her.
Overall - 70/100
A relaxing watercolor "zuma-like" where you play as a cat
Playing as a cat - 20/20
Yes.
Acting like a cat - 5/20
You're generally "shooting" your projectiles by knocking things off a ledge, which is obviously cat-like behavior. The menu is also full of small delights where you chew on plants and try to knock over vases. For most of the gameplay, though, the cat could be replaced with any other sprite (say, a frog) without losing anything.
Adorableness Level - 15/20
The watercolor "sprites" and hand-drawn backgrounds are fun, and the game is fairly cute overall.
Polish - 15/20
The hand-drawn style makes it feel pretty bare-bones, but it's constructed well. The physics-based object tracking can feel a little messy but never buggy--the items always get where they need to go in the end. Our biggest complaint here is that the music gets repetitive fairly quickly. It's nice music, but adding a couple more tracks would be ideal.
FUN! - 15/20
The addition of physics is a fun twist on the classic Zuma formula. Need to shove an object through two others on the track? Go ahead--they'll be knocked…3 found this helpful
This is a charming little idler game that is very relaxing. The game is structured into 12 different paintings tied to months of the year, each with 4 stages. The goal is to match the paints ("Color Spirits") to 1 or more of the same kind to eliminate them. Each stage sends out 100 Color Spirits to float through the scene and in order to pass the stage, you must get 60 points (1 point for each one you eliminate). Despite the simplicity of the concept, there is slight increasing of difficulty within each month's painting stages. My favorite thing about this is the collision. You can send the Color Spirits sprawling into other, non-matching ones which can send them flying. This allows for a couple strategies. You can create chain reactions if the Color Spirits are placed just right! Or you can use non-matching ones to try and push Color Spirits into others of the same type within the line of floating spirits! But be careful; you can also push them right off the screen, which means you won't be able to match them, so that's fewer points for you to accumulate. The music is upbeat but relaxing and charming, even if repetitive. The repetitiveness doesn't bother me too much because I c…3 found this helpful
