7.5/10 A geometric puzzle game in Chinese watercolor setting. Good: - art is in traditional Chinese watercolor style and gives the game a unique feel - the core mechanic is to tilt the field and shift several pieces around while some tiles are impassable. All this feels fresh. It seems to be some traditional game in China that I don't know of, but at least I haven't seen this ever implemented on PC - there are several stages, each having different additional mechanics. E.g. in stage 1 you just need to bring the black piece over the white tile. In stage 2 you need to bring 2 black pieces each to a white tile. In stage 3 you bring a piece to the black tile but also need to have 3 other special pieces end up touching it (red, green and blue), and it would light up as white. So-so: - in about 40 minutes playing and after beating about 15-20 levels (about half with 'S' rating, with min possible moves) I still couldn't figure out the core principle/math behind it. Maybe there isn't any, and each puzzle level is simply a hand-crafted unique setup that has to be solved by essentially a random game tree search.
