About Winning Tactics
In the dark ages, when ancient kingdoms fell under the onslaught of ruthless enemies, the last surviving castle became a symbol of hope for humanity. This castle is not just a fortress made of stone, but a magical stronghold capable of summoning brave soldiers to the battlefield, ready to fight until their last breath. You are the guardian of this stronghold, chosen by fate to lead the resistance and protect it from the hordes of darkness seeking to wipe all life from the face of the earth.Your mission is to defend the castle, using its power to summon warriors at crucial moments of the battle. But the steel of swords alone is not enough: you have ancient magic at your disposal that can turn the tide of battle. Unleash thunderbolts on your enemies, incinerate them with flames, and place deadly mines to slow down their progress. However, the enemies are cunning and diverse: some explode nearby, wreaking destruction, others are divided into two smaller, but no less dangerous creatures, and others have incredible endurance, challenging your best fighters.Every soldier called up by the castle is part of your strategy. Arrange them wisely, taking into account the characteristics of the enemies and the weaknesses of their ranks. Only a combination of tactical genius, the power of magic and unbreakable determination will allow you to stand up and win. The castle is the heart of the resistance, and its fall will be the end of everything. Can you protect him and bring the light back to this dark world?
Information / Review English
Winning Tactics falls into the tower defense and real-time strategy game genre, developed by Gamesforgames.
Gameplay / Story
The Middle Ages, a long-forgotten time that certainly brought with it beautiful but also dark sides. A bastion in the form of a castle, which gives people courage and hope at the same time, is the target of evil creatures that want to take it away from us. Magic, of course, is a must; our castle can summon brave warriors to defend it. We play the heart of the castle, so we are tasked as guardians with doing everything possible to protect the castle from the horrific creatures. We have various warriors to choose from for defense, which are specifically attuned to melee, ranged, magic, and other skills. We must strategically place them on the various maps to fend off the enemies. The enemies are also diverse, with different types, such as those that are slow but have high HP, others that cleverly try to run past our troops, or some that even explode. We can also rain lightning from the sky or defeat our enemies with fireballs. Our arsenal is diverse, and strategy brings us success.
Pros
+ Approp…24 found this helpful
Warning: Asset Flip! Winning Tactics is an asset flip, or what Valve calls a "Fake Game". The "developer" paid for/pirated someone else's example/template/tutorial game, changed the name/reskinned a couple of things, and submitted it to Valve as if it was their own game.
This time Gamesforgames/Atomic Fabrik have ripped off someone's GameMaker Studio soldier attack/defense game demo and put their own name on it. As a simple demo/tutorial it just has 2 units and isn't a complete game, but when has that ever stopped an eastern bloc scammer? Gamesforgames have shown a repeat pattern of unethically dumping other people's work onto Steam as a cheap, nasty cash grab, through this account or through closely linked/alt accounts. Winning Tactics is a lightweight strategy title that focuses on the simple but effective concept of defending a stronghold against incoming enemy forces through careful deployment of warriors and tactical decision-making. Developed and published by Gamesforgames, the game embraces an accessible design philosophy that prioritizes quick battles and straightforward mechanics over the complexity often found in larger real-time strategy releases. While its premise may appear modest at first glance, the game manages to create an engaging battlefield experience through constant pressure and the need for timely reactions. At its core, the gameplay revolves around protecting a castle while summoning units to counter enemy advances. This mechanic forms the foundation of every battle, forcing players to think carefully about when to commit resources and when to hold back. Rather than overwhelming players with countless systems, Winning Tactics concentrates on a focused gameplay loop where timing and battlefield awareness are the keys to success. Each decision carries weight, especially when enemy waves begin to intensify and resources become more valuable. The result is a strategy experience…
You have to defend the castle with unitis & magic powers. This time you have a direct control each single unit like typical RTS game. Enemies attack castle by waves while you should hire soldiers with gold obtaining by kills. Each unit have different characterists and type of attack.
Tower defense, but with mobile units. They don't let you build walls, so we build meat walls behind which archers hide, and victory is in our pocket.
