I've been playing this on my steam deck while traveling last week and the game is great! It isn't really an idler and certainly doesn't deserve the mixed reviews. If you like numbers go up and incrementally buidling up your recources/their generation give this a try! (: Edit: And the soundtrack is great!

The game has something going on for it but it plays more like a chore than a fun game and it's pretty depressing seeing the developer think this is a decent idea. Look at orb of creation, it's the definition of an active resources management game but it's not 1/10th as annoying as this game.

It took about 15 min to get the feel of the game. It started out slow but got more interesting as you see how the rewards work together. Easy to play but has enough going on to keep you playing to see whats next. Seems a good deal at less than $5.

I would normally not try a game with mixed review score - but I realised I had played Tap Wizard 2 for almost 100 hours which is a free game, so I thought I had better buy something from the developer. The game runs on a very strict railroad. For quite a few initial prestige resets you just 100% waste your time trying any sort of alternative strategy (don't waste your time unlocking all the chaos orbs early on, turns out the resource needed is locked away behind a certain prestige level). After a certain point you can wobble a little on the railroad you are travelling on because you can go a slower route to get slightly more prestige points. The difference in this game is that you are on a one way track - once you prestige a level you have to get to the next higher point - you can't just repeat a run like most idle games. There are a bunch of resources that link in reasonably interesting ways - the problem is the strategies are extremely limited - you have very little strategic choice. There is a shop, and you basically go through buying each item, and then keep upgrading the items you purchased until you can afford new items from the shop. As mentioned before - you can wast…

This could have been so much more. The game is locked into too much idling, with too little things going on. This game would have been good if they had some sort of exploration system. A world map, or something. Its like 1/2 of a game. Its too active for an idle, and too idle for an active game. Hopefully the dev takes the engine he has here, and builds it out to be a fuller game.
