The Infinite Grimoire

People are being too hard on this game. It isn't perfect but it is fun enough for me to stay interested. I am looking forward to where this game goes. It is an auto game, what do people expect? When you start adventure capitalist it takes time to get started. This game had too low of drop rate on the Manual of Autonomous Crafting for a bit where I only got the initial one then hundreds of thousands of drops over 10 hours I got two more. Now with the update I got 6 in an hour and I am fully auto on my production. There needs to be some automation on merging/crafting and some automation on the Academy to train mages, but honestly this feels really solid for a free game,

It would be better if our progress were more visible. But the game itself is fun so far.

With all the flaws and random differences to other games this feels a lot like something an AI would spit out, without someone to look over it to iron out hte pecularities. Probably an AI or Model not commonly used for other games.

The only thing that changed since the demo is that the 4th legendary drop (Manual of Autonomous Crafting) that made the game into a semi-idler got nerfed so hard, it doesn't even drop anymore. And it's kinda the least of the problems, since all the major gameplay elements with all the major problems they have remained unchanged. Crafting is abysmal, you either craft one at a time or craft all, there is no scaling whatsoever, and since you need to make all kind of combinations and use the same type of component for multiple crafts, its just a really bad design. Same goes for selling and using booster books, one or all. And the other major part, training and using an army is even worse. You train arcanist individually, you apply number of books to them based on their level and then you go to POIs to fight. However you have no way of knowing how strong you are, or how the different tiered books change the strength of you troops, and in general, theres absolutely no information on anything (active buffs on the tables, active modifieres on the troops or crafting, nothing at all) . So, its all just an incredibly time consuming guessing game, and its definintely doesn't worth the time.
