About Woodfel
Woodfel is a single/multiplayer, open-world building & crafting game.

As a new traveller to the land of Woodfel, you will discover a primitive fantasy world of creatures, monsters and factions! The usually peaceful hills & valleys that the Woodfolk roam are becoming more dangerous with the arrival of Demons to the realm. While you strive to prosper in this new land you will find powerful weapons, craft enchanting vanity outfits and build epic structures in which to shelter. Will you help the Woodfolk to survive against their new foes, or take the side of the Demons and plunder the realm?

Bought this during the sale and I really wanted to like it but the controls are really weird. Just too hard to get used to for me. They can be changed, I believe, but I think full controller support would help. Keeping it, because I'm hoping for eventual better controller support and/or better movement controls. Otherwise it seems very cute. I'd say get it on sale.8 found this helpful
Woodfel, the game that was promised an open world sandbox with 2 factions for you to meet, on a closer look though it is hardly the case. To start a majority of crafting items are locked behind story or random drops from bosses meaning you can NOT learn them on your own. To make this even more of an issue the quests themselves will have you going to random spots everywhere around the map and some times even to long distances which can be very frustrating if you was to fail a quest and it spawns else where speaking of that the quest enemies are spawned like fates from FFXIV and you have a certain time limit, if you do not have the right items on you the enemy will beat you up in 1 to 2 hits and considering the only real rewarding factor is the quests and drops themselves you have no way of going outside of the story or to craft this stuff on your own to stand a chance, and if you take too long or if you can not do it they will not spawn back in for a long period of time The story itself honestly shouldn't be a requirement and shouldn't be forced just to get around as minecraft the inspiration for this game you can craft 1st and prepare before doing any real content and the same g…3 found this helpful
Feels like someone wanted to make a game. "Hmm, maybe minecraft, no an mmo, alight that's enough of that. Release it on steam."1 found this helpful
Has a few bugs but it splayable
Cute little game, I bought this on a whim some time ago. Maybe this version isn't quite ready for full release but it's fun enough. Controls are a little bit unconventional, I'd wish for proper mouse-look without drag/pan. And yeah, it could use a little more content. Maybe it'll get there some day.
The game is Fun in its own unique way, its like a more relaxed builder type of a game, it has multiplayer that you can join into or host, and the developer is very active in the discord theres currently plenty to do in the game, i am still finding new items and recipes even after almost 30 hours of gameplay
