About Word of the Law: Death Mask Collector's Edition
You're an F.B.I.S.K. detective who investigates particularly serious crimes connected with serial killers. Audrey Parker, a police officer, tells you that there is a serial killer in the city: several corpses wrapped in plaster were found recently and all of them were in the form of sculptures. The main suspect is Chad Hill whose sculpture gallery was burned and the truth about the arson is being concealed for it's connected with the local authorities and, of course, money. Now he wants to avenge it. Will you manage to break off the chain of vengeance murders and stop Chad, or not?

Typical BigFish type HOG/HOP Puzzle game. The main game was pretty okay. The bonus chapter was short and contained repeat assets some of which didn't make much sense. Lazy. Not bad for a cozy afternoon. Some puzzles were a mess. Would recommend as a once through. Enjoy4 found this helpful
I wanna give this game a 'meh' and here's why: + scenes are pretty + game length is fine + some of the puzzles aren't too easy - Most puzzles feel clunky - too many repetitive puzzles - sometimes confusing setup of puzzles - instruction clear things up, but other games do a better job at making clear what they want you to do - some of the adventure parts of the game are a bit arbitrary - the idea behind the story is interesting, but remains a bit flat Overall was fun enough to rather give it a thumbs up than a thumbs down, even though there are many much better hob games out there.

Not an enjoyable experience. Some achievements impossible to complete. Many puzzles had bad graphics and looked sloppy...not to mention confusing and frustrating. Many repeat sequences. This was poorly made and low quality. Cannot recommend.

The game's graphics are decent for the game's age. I did notice that the animations were a bit wonky when it came to human interactions. They just didn't move right and made it a bit unsettling. Along the same lines, the voice over and animation didn't match very well in most. I also found spelling and grammatical errors. Some due to a bad translation. During the main game, some puzzles had very confusing instructions (maybe due to the translations). Even then, I figure out what to do after staring at them for a bit. There were some entertaining hidden object scenes with different mechanics, not just the basics. As well with puzzles, there were plenty of different types and it made it enjoyable. The story for the main game just felt -meh-. Maybe something you'd see on an episode of CSI Las Vegas but with more mediocre writing or execution. Of course, not to disappoint anyone…
Fun point and click HOG. The story wasn't the most creative, but I did enjoy it.
