About Word on the hook
An exciting intellectual fishing game for one or more players, where as a “fish” you need to catch words divided into two parts. Each player gets control of a boat and a fishing rod, with which they need to catch as many fish as possible. Each fish carries only one of the two parts of a word. For example, the word “game” will be divided into two fish “ig” and “ra”. Whoever catches both of these syllables will collect the word “game”. Whichever player caught the most words in a certain time won!
About the game
Simple rules: each player can either move left and right (to determine where to cast the fishing rod), or lower and raise the fishing rod. To catch a fish, you just need to “hook” it with a hook. To catch a word, you need to catch two fish - parts of this word.
There is a mode for 1 player (catch as many word fish as possible against time and earn more coins).
There is a mode for several (2-4) players on one screen (have time to catch more fish than your friends).
Support for Russian and English languages (both in the interface and in gameplay).
There are 2 difficulty levels for each language (the difficulty level affects the number and complexity of words; even preschoolers know words at an easy level)
There are 9 fisherman characters to choose from.
At the end of each round, each player receives a prize - coins (as many coins as he managed to catch the words).
There is a store where you can spend the coins you earn and buy cool nautical jewelry.
Timed game.
The game uses cute cartoon graphics.
The game has beautiful special effects and pleasant music!
Warning: AI Slop This game is partially or completely made with talentless, soulless AI generated content.
"Word on the hook" is a garbage Russian word puzzle game made with disgusting AI Slop art in an insult to gamers and content creators everywhere. What do you do in the game? Assemble words from word fragments and shake your head at the intellectual and creative bankrupcy of any "developer" who resorts to insulting gamers with AI slop, then quickly uninstall it. As mentioned, this features really godawful, "wrong" looking AI slop instead of genuinely and sincerely created game assets. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating real game assets or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks bad because of that decision. AI slop sticks out like a sore thumb... and it comes across as insulting. There's also the old adage that those who lack the budget and talent to make their own game assets usually lack the budget and talent to do the rest of the job of game development properly, too, and …2 found this helpful
