5 found this helpful
subpar translation protagonist actively hindered every other aspect of the experience and somehow became more unlikable as the story progressed3 found this helpful
Worst mc i have ever seen even worse than rent a girlfriend mc. 30 mins into the game and the first joke ever is about SA. If you are here because of spice wolf then you are mistaken. I bought a whole bundle just to get disappointed DO NOT BUY THIS ♥♥♥♥2 found this helpful
This is the very first Visual Novel I've ever played through in full, and I thought it was an amazing story, despite being a linear one. Despite me coming in expecting a short 4 hour or so experience, and not liking any of the characters immediately, the last 3 or so hours (or basically everything from the start of the trading contest to the end of the game) somehow had me extremely invested in both the characters and the climax of the story. Even if you don't know trading terminology, it really can also be enjoyed through just the characters alone. I think the ending was amazingly done in a way that it could be left off as a one-off story with a satisfying conclusion, or lead into the next episode. My only problem was that it feels pretty slow in the beginning, even more so than most actual novels are, I don't really think it gets interesting or worth being invested into until the latter half of the game. Amazing story, 8/10, makes me want to trade stocks.1 found this helpful
I gave it about 90mins, but I skipped a lot of unnecessary and uninteresting internal monologuing the main character did. It tries to world build, but I didn’t care. The story didnt give me enough reason to care yet. I wanted to stick it out, but there were numerous spelling amd English translation errors that also kept cropping up and it dampened my outlook on how the rest of the game would be.
This gives a high dosis of economics that I have been missing since Spice and Wolf
