My experience in Wurm So far: So you want to make a bow? Well get ready mother ♥♥♥♥♥♥, because not only are you going to have to cut a tree, but you'll then have to turn that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ into a log. From there, it just goes without saying that you'll need to turn that log into some planks and some shafts, so you can make a rope making tool. But, obviously, you'll also need some nails to complete the construction of your rope tool, so find yourself some iron and a way to smelt it, and bang that heated up ore into some nails. With those nails you can actually finish your rope tool, so you can find some hemp plants, grind the hemp into fiber, and use the tools to craft a bow string. Done? Great! Now you can chop down another tree and make a bow. But wait! Now you want to use that bow to shoot a fool. A word of warning: If you try to use that bow on someone without first having crafted a quiver and filled it with arrows (which require you to craft shafts to convert to arrow shafts, as well as heated iron forged into arrow heads), you will simply throw your bow at the creature instead of firing it, like the ignorant simp peasant you actually are. really fun game! still dont understand how this was made by the same guy who made minecraft...

It takes way too long to mine things in the game. I didn't get past the tutorial as the cave mining was so slow - 10 actions in (5 mins) and the rock looks exactly the same.
