In Wurm Unlimited, players can explore an elaborate fantasy sandbox world in the predefined Creative or Adventure modes as well as set up their own game server and invite friends to live and experience the Wurm universe.

It's like if Valheim was like super fiddly. If getting a bit sweaty about crafting and grinding is attractive to you, then Wurm may be your flavor.2 found this helpful

Let's address the elephant in the room first: Wurm Unlimited is no longer in active development, with the last major updates coming years ago. If you're looking for a live-service game with frequent patches and new content, this isn't it. There are a few minor bugs, and installing mods can introduce additional issues, but the base game itself is surprisingly stable and in a very playable state. That said, I absolutely love this game —and its online counterpart, Wurm Online. Few games offer the same level of freedom and depth. The crafting system is incredibly rewarding, terraforming lets you reshape the world however you want, and building your own homestead, village, or even an entire kingdom feels like a genuine accomplishment. Every project takes time and effort, which makes the finished result that much more satisfying. I've logged over 1,400 hours in Wurm Unlimited, and I still find myself coming back to it. That's not because it's perfect—it isn't—but because it offers an experience that almost no other game does. If you enjoy sandbox games where you create your own goals, appreciate a slow but meaningful progression system, and don't mind a bit of a learning curve, Wur…1 found this helpful

You have to right click to activate your shovel, to right click to dig, to find out you can't dig because your digging level is too low... 10/10
