This is a sandbox adventure game with RPG progression at its core. Survival pressure is relatively low, giving you the freedom to enslave various alien beasts, craft skills for them, and evolve them into their ultimate forms! You can also explore the underground world, defeat bosses and insectoid swarms, and keep forging stronger weapons and gear as you delve deeper into the alien planet in search of a way back to Earth.
- Freely explore this world filled with alien plants and animals. Start with mining and logging, craft more advanced tools, climb the technology tree, and build and expand your shelter.
- Try taming alien creatures—they can be raised to produce meat or animal products, ridden to travel across the planet, or taken into battle against bosses to become the overlord of this alien world.
- Beyond the alien world above, powerful monsters and bosses lurk underground. Defeat them to obtain various weapons, equipment, and materials, which can be crafted into advanced gear to make yourself stronger.
- There are hundreds of weapons and accessories with distinct combat styles—swords, bows, staves, hammers, and more, each with unique variations. Weapons can be upgraded and enhanced, branching into even more forms. Accessories also grant different attributes and effects, such as sprinting, dashing, or revival, allowing you to freely customize your combat style.
- Recruit or capture scattered minions across the alien world. Whether farming 9-to-9-6 or mining 0-to-0-7, you can command them freely. Assign them to smelt iron, cook meals, or stock goods—the planet’s automation runs on the hard work of your minions. Fully enjoy the life of an alien rancher!
- Collect the genes of wild creatures and use the bio-lab to create gene chips, transforming your minions into powerful weapons. This not only boosts their stats but can also change their attack patterns. Continuously upgrade and enhance your minions, leading them to conquer the planet.
- From raw materials to crafting to shelving, enjoy a full-cycle service with no middlemen taking a cut. Set up stalls to sell goods, attract merchants lining up to buy, and turn your base into the CBD of the alien world.
- Personally build and run a trending restaurant, create hit dishes like “Boiled Bug Jelly,” offer full entertainment and lodging services, and attract merchants from across the universe—experience life as an interstellar tycoon!

Uhhh... XenoHaven just feels really jank. Like if someone tried to make a harvest moon/minecraft vibe game in RPG Maker. Everything feels very basic, and very janky. Nothing is explained, the translations aren't good, and often text will overflow the textboxes with no way to scroll. Projectiles go through walls, your hitbox is way bigger than your character, all the menus for your companions are poorly explained, and nothing really makes any intuitive sense (I harvest some plants with a pickaxe, others with an axe, I have to harvest my plants with a pickaxe.) Also immediately ran into a bug where my first companion just... ran off? he disappeared for like a week, and then just showed back up one day.5 found this helpful
One of those games that isn't great and you doubt will ever get better. Has a similar vibe to Necesse with map generation but everything about this sounds like a good idea with poor execution. Let me put it this way. It isn't even worth the energy to explain what is wrong with it. Just don't.5 found this helpful
I've not gotten very far in it thus far but with the little I've played this game really has a great deal of potential and I am enjoying it. It has a very Necesse vibe to it thus far. I have two followers and things are moving along. My only issue so far in the early game is I have to work on food production which seems not to keep up with hunger even on the lowest setting. But that could be a "me" thing having done something wrong and not a game issue. Keep up the good work. I am looking forward to see where this leads.3 found this helpful

great game
Fun game - lots to explore and many types of technology to research. Lots of tiered gear to build. Bosses for each level which are manageable at normal difficulty level. Graphics are pixel ... but if that doesn't bother you it is a great game for the price.
