This game is very much a product of its time, the first signs, when you boot it up, being no widescreen support and jittery physics which are assume are caused by higher frame rate. Considering the game is 2 decades old, it didn't age that bad, the car damage model is good, it even has a driver injury indicator, something I have never seen in any other racing game, though it's mostly a gimmick that hardly works unless the driver dies. The career is repetitive and without a little cheat can get quite grindy, having to repeat races to be able to afford upgrads and/or new cars. Sure, the game might be eurojank but for 50 cents it's alright.

Rally game combining arcade and simulation elements, in which you race on demanding special stages and develop your cars by tuning them ✅Very good game physics (horn, lights, car damage) ✅Very good graphics for 2006 ✅Various cars and a noticeable difference after tuning ✅Large number of tracks and map variants (5 locations, many sections) ✅Economy system; you need to save up for upgrades ✅Two game modes (arcade and simulation) ✅Very good price for the game's content ❌Poor steering, as the car reacts unnaturally to steering and braking, making it quite easy to go off track ❌Low tolerance for errors when driving fast; one mistake can ruin your ride ✅✅ Verdict: [strike] Terrible [/strike] , [strike] Bad [/strike] , [strike] Mediocre [/strike] , [b] Decent [/b] , [strike] Good [/strike] , [strike] Very Good [/strike] (Rating scale for short games, retro indie simulator games and similar) [quote] If you'd like to see more of my reviews, you can find them on my curator page: [url=https://store.steampowered.com/curator/45994324/admin/reviews_manage/]CuratorKingViking[/url] and on my group: [url=https://steamcommunity.com/groups/CuratorKingViking]GroupKingViking[/url] If you have any …

Its really not that bad, even if its like over 20 years old but the only problems are that the controls are a little clanky but you'll get used to it after a while of playing. A good thing is that drifting is SO easy you WILL feel like a professional after that first smooth drift around a hairpin. There is also cool little details such as animals crossing your road and people standing at the center of the road to take a pic then running off. If you have a newer device the resolution wont be big enough so there will be pillarboxes on thhe sides which could be annoying. But that opening soundtrack at the menu is SO good.

This game is not for noobs. The driving physics are unusual, so the learning curve is steep. There are no assists. (there is a Sat Nav minimap upgrade that you have to buy for each car) One medium to large mistake, easy to make at high speed, means you have to restart an up to 6 min race. Once you do get the hang of it, the drifting is smooth and satisfying when excecuted right, braking is responsive even when unupgraded, and the sense of speed is sweet. A tiny 100bhp compact feels like a rocket. Though, driving/transitioning onto tarmac can be fairly awkward. Upgrading. The upgrading is pretty detailed and granular, it has held up to many modern titles. I personally really like it. The one individual thing that I don't like about it is that there are no engine swaps. Overall, the game is pretty good. There are much better and much worse games out there. For the price paid ($1.04USD for the bundle after tax) I do heavily recommend it. Like it? You got 2 enjoyable games for a dollar. Don't like it? It was only a dollar.
