To clarify at the start, I won this game from a giveaway, however I still wanted to provide my honest thoughts about it. Firstly, this feels like a game made by a newer developer, someone who just wants to make something and show it to the world. Due to this, I feel that the $1.99 price tag ($1.39 on sale right now) can be seen as steep for some player, HOWEVER, I do think that if you're fine supporting smaller studios and want something that can honestly just be a time killer between doing other stuff, this is a nice game to have. My previous review mentioned wanting cosmetics in this game to make it have a bit more of an buff towards what you're getting with your purchase and what do you know, it got added like 2 days later. It's obvious that the dev wants to make something that is worth the price even though it feels like an early project by someone, and for that I gotta commend the game for it. I do still wish the game had a few other improvements, maybe pressing R to restart early if you had a run already going would count as a death in order to help speed up stuff like the "100 death achievements" and give a better counter towards how many tries you've had in a run instead…3 found this helpful
Yeet Up! is a very simple directional grab and fling game. * Grabable geometry, which are obstacles at the same time, pop up in-flight * Grab is a direct linear pull, making it difficult to control, requiring the efficient use of momentum around obstacles, which is difficult to set up * Deadly spikes come relatively early and their number scales up steeply - Spikes, combined with the speed you're moving, are practically unavoidable, making it a game of chance - Defaults to non-system language, and requires going through them one by one in the settings - Slow death, slow reset after death (you have to press R, and upon death is locked for a while, presumably for the death screen blend-in) - Death count "achievements" The low price is fair for such a simple game.2 found this helpful
