The game that started it all for me. My dad bought this game for me about 30 years ago, and it was one of the first PC games I can remember playing. Pure nostalgia. Thanks dad. You are the best!

would not recommend the controls and unit pathing are terrible, it is just a rage game at this point

Well throw away nowadays standards, for the time when this originally released it's quite a complete game considering all the obscure crap from that time period, i love the RTS action and the silly jokes in the story. Overall a great experience to relive in 2026.

Great game. Had it since the very first release.

One of the best RTS of its time, and never really got expanded upon (Properly/Successfully). Good Mechanics that teaches the importance of pushing for map control over Turtling. Map Control = More Build speed = More units = more aggression = more winning. A Game very much based on Momentum, and not to stand still. Yet you still have to be tactical in your choices. Sneak around and damage factories, go straight for the base, cut off supply lines. Story is simple, Characters are hilarious as your Troops go Bat **** Crazy on the battlefield depending on your performance. Can be frustrating with Pathing, as units can have the brains of a brick. Can be frustrating, but when you get used to and play it for what it is, and what it was at the time. Great Memories. Commander Zod!

Probably better off playing the original through DOSBox. Everything is so sluggish. opposite of a tight old dos-game. Even the main menu has delays after clicking and is generally unresponsive. And what's up with the filtering? Who filters pixel art like this? Should be considered a war crime.
