I had a pretty good time playing Zombie Army Trilogy solo. The shooting feels satisfying, especially when landing precise headshots and watching the game's slow-motion kill-cam. The atmosphere is also surprisingly effective, with dark environments and plenty of undead enemies creating a constant sense of tension. That said, the gameplay can become repetitive because you're often doing the same basic thing: finding a position and shooting waves of zombies. Zombie Army Trilogy is a lot more fun when played in co-op. Working together to survive huge zombie waves creates some genuinely exciting moments, especially when things get chaotic and everyone is trying to cover different angles. The shooting feels satisfying, and coordinating with teammates makes the different weapons and abilities more useful. Still, the three campaigns provide plenty of content, and the satisfying gunplay kept me coming back. Enjoy :)2 found this helpful

absolutely loved zombie army trilogy and then they came out with zombie army 4 dead war which is even better.
The game exceeded expectations. It's much less serious than Sniper Elite, and is an obvious engine/asset flip, but many missions have challenging encounters, require coordination in co-op, and puzzle solving besides just good aim. For 5€ on sale - a must buy for any Sniper Elite enjoyer. P.S. Add "-hz=144" parameter to enable high refresh rate. The game defaults to 60hz with no GUI to change that. FPS counter will happily show >60, verify the mode set with your display's HUD.
What the game does well: It delivers hours of straightforward, skull‑smashing fun. The slow‑motion x‑ray shots remain a highlight and never get old. Atmosphere and tone. The game embraces a B‑movie aesthetic, misty graveyards, lightning flashes, and creepy audio design to create a tense, pulpy mood. Plenty of content. Three campaigns, long missions, and Horde mode provide many hours of zombie‑killing action
