Zombiehood

I HIGHLY recommend. If you like a roguelite shooter (like Enter the Gungeon), like satisfying guns, and a lot of exciting variants, you will love this game. I have a few complaints though: I can't save and exit while in a level, and that makes it frustrating because then you have to get through the whole level to quit the game. The roguelike elements kinda feel stale and don't really add to the game. Maybe make the changes more obvious? What I love: Music, polish, art... the whole game. I really like the different enemy variants, the add a nice amount of variation. {-MILD SPOILER-}: The slicer guys always make me panic and it adds a lot of tension, since nearly all other enemies you can just camp on a ladder. The slicer guys you can't do that. The added threat of them being super fast makes it fun. The guns feel great to use and the game feels very fair, though intense at times ofc. I love this game and wish there were more games like it, great job guys.

It's aight. Good if you're in it for a few runs and done for the night; a slow burn if you're going for 100%. RNG hurts like a mf, but once you get that snowball effect, the game turns into a GOD run quick. Environments/situations get predictable pretty quick, but you'll need the extra points for permanent upgrades in later runs. The ankle-biter zombies made me miss the rage. 7.2/10

Game is listed as "Steam Deck Verified" but some of the mouse integrations don't work (e.g "Mouse Region" mode for joysticks) and there is no built-in button remapping. The built-in steam input configuration seems to work as intended and the game is enjoyable so I'm leaving this as a positive, but it would be really nice to have fully featured input management.

Fun little sidescroller, I enjoyed my time playing it. Not as much level variety as I would like, but there is a fair bit of enemy variety. Meta progression is decent, but not too crazy or overwhelming. There's plenty of weapons and modifiers to be interesting for a while. $10 might be a bit steep of an asking price when you look at other titles of a similar or slightly higher price point, but absolutely worth it on a sale.

Going to keep it short. It's fun, but needs a lot of polish and more stuff, otherwise, it's a mindless zombie killer with artifacts/run to run power up metagame

this game has some promise to it, but both feels like a carbon copy of risk of rain but zombie apocalypse, and both the exploders and baby zombies just feel so cheap, as well as glitches that cause me to lose a runs xp. currently an awful game edit: i keep playing more and just getting more frustated do not get this game until they fix the stupid ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ exploders
