About Zombie Survivors: Inventory Apocalypse
Where this game goes depends on you!Making this game was a blast and I'm ready to see if people have just as much fun playing it as I did making it! I'm very excited to see what other people think about it and I appreciate constructive feedback. As an individual, I am pleased about how this went as a project and I am excited to work on more things. However, if this game is well received and enough people would enjoy more content, such that I could justify spending more time and bringing on additional talent, I would be just as passionate about adding things to this game as I would be about working on a new one. Thanks for reading about this game, and a special thanks if you play it!
What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Players describe a rough, buggy experience with control issues, unclear mechanics, and crashes that make the game difficult to play, though one reviewer notes it's a first attempt by an inexperienced developer and suggests it has potential for the price. The core complaints center on unresponsive controls, poor tutorials, freezing on death, and lost items due to bugs, while defenders acknowledge these problems but view them charitably as growing pains for an early indie project. Whether the game is worth playing largely depends on tolerance for bugs and expectations for a two-dollar early effo
Another quick cash grab scam game. No way to fight...you just die....despite the instructions saying how to do so. There is no menu screen at all. The backpack button is space and while you are figuring out your crafting and what not...you die. The game is literally unplayable. Then when you die....the game freezes and the exit button doesnt work. You have to alt tab out to exit this obvious fraud of a game. The only positive review for this game is a fake one. Dont be fooled people. If the developer is serious about the game he will be responsive to players asap....post messages and updates, fix everything that needs fixing and explain why he allowed players to buy something not playable. Refunded and reviewed accordingly....will change review and repurchase game if everything I mentioned is corrected. I would also expect standard mechanics for this type of genre to be added as well. Like gamepad support, full tutorial, full menu with key rebinding options and screen options, and all bugs fixed. i dont see that happening though, devs like this rarely ever respond to these posts or care about reviews after they collect the money and run.1 found this helpful
I think this is a straightforward game. For transparency, one of my friends created this game as a side project, and this was his first attempt at creating a game (and I think programming an app in general). It does have some bugs, and I think some of the scaling could be improved, but as a whole I think that he did a good job. Currently, the main bug that I have encountered was occasionally having items get stuck to the mouse so that I couldn't place them. This didn't prevent me from moving around other items, but it meant that the items that got stuck were lost. I don't think it affected game play that much, though it was a bit annoying.
For 2 bucks, you can have some fun with this.
