It's the game like this which makes me lose my faith in the genre. The words are neither serious or funny, but flighty and careless. There are some ridiculous references to Zombie Exodus. Why don't you create your own thing, damn it! I didn't find it entertaining and pleasant at all. And alien plus zombie isn't original any more, hello? Can I tell you another secret? People don't like to have game over thrown in their face, just because they can't figure out which skill is checked in a particular situation. I agree there should be penalties like getting hurt jumping over something for a low dexterity character. But game over? that's just harsh and inconsiderate. Even the writer of Zombie Exodus learned this lesson when he wrote the Safe Haven. And don't expect any exciting plot twists to keep you going. The story is quite predictable and not worth mentioning, really.15 found this helpful
This story just really didn't know what it wanted to be. It went back and forth from goofy to really serious. The grammatical errors were often enough that it just made the entire story kind of hard to take seriously. Many of the choices didn't actually have any real meaning overall either. This wasn't the worst story I've read by any means, but I couldn't honestly recommend it either. 6/107 found this helpful
Very few discrepancies and a compelling story. A few more twists and turns would've been nice.2 found this helpful
I really really wanted to like this one more than I was able to. In fact i restarted it right after my first play through just to see if i could see if i could do things a bit different and get that.... oh yeah this is what i was looking for feeling. The game just couldnt make up its mind what it wanted to be. It starts off with almost slap stick type humor and your thinking okay this is going to be fun! then it turns around and has you making all these serious decisions, with real consequences and your like oh oh wait a minute this is like tactical thinking, i should have been taking this serious,.... and then next thing you know the some one your with is not with you no more and you realize it in one of the most painful ways imaginable and your like omg i didnt realize, i should have realized, why didnt i not do something different... I mean the story is just all over the place and I as the player just can never get a good enough feeling for where its going to make the right kind of decisions. Furthermore, all though this is a really easy fix for the Dev(s) the script keeps breaking and forgetting who your uhm being intimate with. Im with the guy from the couple off the sh…1 found this helpful
A good read. Much less silly, and with a far more engaging story than I was expecting.
