About Zorbit's Orbits
Zorbit's Orbits is a 2D platformer inspired by games like Sonic the Hedgehog, but with a Mario Galaxy twist.
Started by two pals with no experience while they were working at a dry cleaners, Zorbit's Orbits involves hardcore platforming elements, puzzle solving, and intense boss fights. The levels are circular, requiring the player to consider each planet's gravity as they hop or orbit between them. Zorbit can also use his grapple hook in order to reach new places and shoot his blaster to defeat the evil Globulons, organic monsters with an appetite for robot.
Zorbit’s Orbits includes 8 hand-drawn, incredibly detailed levels, with a funky soundtrack and tons of secrets to discover.
Try your hand at several difficulty levels, everything from infinite lives to one-hit game overs.

Zorbit's Orbits is a garbage 2D retro platformer with one twist, it uses a number of different "gravity" sources so your jumping around must work within the confines of small planetoids. Other than that the gameplay is stale, dead platformer stuff, you can shoot, jump, but that's about it. Gameplay is more orientated around precision platforming within the gravity framework, but this is stymied by many elements of the poor technical execution. Taking this shovelware seriously as if it was a genuine attempt to make a game, it doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. There's no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings. There's no way for gamers to ensure this is running at the native resolution of their displays... there's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. There's no way for gamers to try improve the low quality graphics. The game features noisy cartoony 2D graphics, of the type you normally expect to see in low effort mobile apps. 3D graphics programming does require a degree of skill and competence and unfortunately not all developer…2 found this helpful
Zorbit’s Orbits by Happyrock Studios is a platformer that immediately distinguishes itself through its central mechanic: gravity is no longer a constant, but a shifting force that reshapes how every level is approached. Instead of moving across flat planes, players guide the titular character across small, spherical worlds where each surface exerts its own pull. This creates a constant sense of motion and reorientation, turning even the simplest jump into an exercise in spatial awareness. The concept is easy to grasp but surprisingly difficult to master, giving the game a strong identity from the outset. What makes the experience compelling is how naturally it introduces this unconventional movement. Early levels are structured to gently familiarize players with the idea of curved terrain and shifting perspectives, allowing time to adjust to the sensation of running along the sides and undersides of circular environments. As the game progresses, however, the design becomes increasingly ambitious. Players are asked to leap between orbiting bodies, navigate tight spaces where gravity changes mid-action, and maintain momentum while constantly recalculating their position in relation …1 found this helpful
Best played with a controller for the price its ok but it gave me that annoying itch you get when the level starts to bug ya if you understand what i mean. For 1.99 it'll keep some people entertained.1 found this helpful
Zorbit's Orbits is a quirky little platformer with a genuinely clever core concept — orbiting around small planetoids and grappling between them creates some surprisingly creative level design that you don't see in most sidescrollers. At around $2, it's hard to be too harsh, and the sound design and visuals have a charming retro feel. That said, the grappling mechanic feels inconsistent, the hit boxes can be frustrating, and the rotating levels may genuinely make you dizzy after a while. The higher difficulty modes are punishing in ways that feel more clunky than intentional. If you're a die-hard platformer fan looking for something novel and cheap, give it a shot — but go in with tempered expectations.
So bad
An impressive concept with excellent execution, featuring great sound design and visuals, along with clever level design. While I typically don't engage much with platformers, the price makes it an enjoyable experience. It's a fun game! The innovative approach to shifting perspectives adds a unique twist to the level design. However, I often find myself feeling challenged on the higher difficulty settings, primarily due to my own shortcomings. I highly recommend it!
