As someone who have played the original games I must say this was a big downgrade. (For those who don't know, this game is related to a franchise of mobile games that for some reason was delisted from Play Store around 2018-2019) I really love the Gods Wars franchise but this game is just poorly made. The developers are literally just reusing the assets of their previous games without a care about the mismatch of art style. The original games apart from Gods Wars 4, were actual RPGs with a story, this one is just a generic roguelike with a even more generic story that makes no sense for those who never played the original games. The translations are terrible, the mobile games never had a decent translation but this game is way worse. I really hoped to see the Gods Wars franchise return and maybe have a port of the mobile games for PC but unfortunately I already lost that hope. My advice? Just play Gods Wars I, II and Ex Vampire, they're much better. (But unfortunately it's quite hard to find their APKs due to their lack of popularity)2 found this helpful
The game itself is on the low side of mediocre. The translations on the other hand are some of the worst on steam. Not a single sentence I've seen is translated properly. Watching gobs of senseless ♥♥♥♥ is too much to endure.1 found this helpful
This game is such a mess; to the point that its almost disrespectful to anyone who purchases it. Attacks with certain weapons go the wrong direction, the pixel art styles are completely different and clash at all times, most the environments are pixel assets stretched and resized improperly leaving them blurry. NPC sprites are the same where they just took a sprite and stretched it and it looks awful. UI is a mix mash of many things some still with plain black boxes sharply averting your attention to how awful they look. This game is just an absolute mess and is a pure demonstration of how anything can get put on steam with zero quality. Bring me back to the days of Unreal engine asset flip achievement games. To call this a 1.0 is a laugh. The dev might have a somewhat decent diablo style game here if he gave a sht even the slightest.
