✦ AI summary

Infectonator: Survivors is a squad-based zombie survival game with base management and RPG progression that players find addictive in short bursts, especially those nostalgic for the browser version, though it suffers from repetitive gameplay, poor balance, game-breaking bugs, and clunky controls that frustrate many. The pixel art and core loop of scavenging and building are praised, but the lack of controller support, tedious grinding, broken achievements, and apparent developer abandonment significantly limit its appeal.

Juego muy entretenido con un pixel art muy bonito, perfecto si te gustan los juegos de supervivencia y de matar zombies aun a la larga se puede sentir repetitivo.

Bought it for $0.99. Certainly isn't worth $10, but is perfectly fine for a buck. Fun game, takes some time to figure it out and then you do and it's not that hard. It does get old fast. Also, achievements are completely broken. Not sure how to get them. If you can get it for $0.99 it's a good way to spend time and can definitely be fun.

This game feels like they took elements from various other indie roguelikes and classic zombie flash games, without giving themselves time to actually flesh out and/or polish any of these aspects. The movement is very ill-equipped for in-the-moment action. It plays like a Death Road To Canada ripoff that had it's movement system and visibility kneecapped at the last minute so they can advertise it as an "RTS". Enemies can and will jump you due to the fog-of-war. The thing with the movement is that even at the best of times, it's very clunky. You have no direct control of your characters, merely being able to command them to move to a spot or tell them to do a thing. At the worst of times, an enemy will jump you and in the ensuing commotion the pathfinding or the movement speed may end up screwing you over. I'm not entirely convinced that the infinite revive system wasn't implemented as a band-aid to mitigate the glaring movement issues. During exploration segments, you will find yourself clicking constantly due to the screen being way too zoomed in. Befuddlingly enough, they give you free range to take control of either the entire group at once, or just one character at a time. I…

I bought it for a dollar on sale, it's a fun game, but 2 to 3 crashes every hour and seems to be abandoned by developers.

Thank goodness I paid less than a dollar for this game because it's super annoying to play. The moment I turned it on and found out there's no controller support I knew something was wrong. Not being able to manually move around is what breaks the game for me. I don't want to individually click on or press a key in order to then right click to go somewhere in order to do ANYTHING. Just let me control and move around and kill things. If I could do that, this game would be great. And if there's a game that is just like this and allows me to do what I just said, let me know because that's what I want to play. I have to thumbs down this one but if you're into the RTS genre you might like it.

Good for a game on sale, especially if you liked the flash version. This game however doesn't quite reach its full potential, especially since it is abandoned by the devs by this point and does have a lot of poor balancing, lack of auxilary gameplay outside the main mode, and some game breaking bugs that can piss people off to no end.
