The recommend is very lukewarm. The game plays like a tabletop game with the Kingdom Rush look. There is nothing above and beyond what you would expect and the leveling is less than average for current standards. 6/10 seems about right with might not be a real recommend but I love all the other Kingdom Rush games. Buy them first and play them first. Then buy the DLC for those games. Then buy Iron Marines and the squel. Then buy this game if you like the developers and want more...

The worst Kingdom Rush game in the series? Definitely It engages you only for the first 5-10 hours because the campaign is extremely short for a KR game. After that, it gets only worse and worse But it's OK to get for a fan on sale

I'll be honest, this is my least favorite release from the entire Kingdom Rush series. The new playstyle and game format kind of threw me off, especially from how different it is from the rest of the games. I will say though, I still very much enjoyed the game as a whole, and I still need to revisit it in the future to finish out the 100%. I would still recommend this title to any fans of the Kingdom Rush series, as it is still another great game from Ironhide.
