About Inkbound
Inkbound is a turn-based roguelike where written words literally come to life, letting you team up with up to three friends to save magical stories from the Atheneum while building synergistic character abilities in real-time simultaneous combat. Its revolutionary turn-based system lets you move freely and chain abilities at your own pace, slowing down only when danger demands careful strategy.

REINVENTING TURN-BASED GAMEPLAY
Within the unique turn-based combat system players move freely, act simultaneously in multiplayer, and can rapidly use abilities. Go fast when the decisions are easy, go slow when the threat amps up and you need to strategize more deeply.
DIVERSE BUILDS AND CLASSES
Explore a varied set of character classes while adapting your strategy during runs to craft powerful builds. With draftable abilities, ability upgrades, and hundreds of items to find there are many possible ways to play.

4 PLAYER CO-OP
The Atheneum acts as a social hub where players can meet with friends and strangers to party up into groups of up to four. Take on challenges as a team and strategize together to determine the most synergistic builds.
SAVE THE STORIES
The magical Atheneum contains all stories ever written. Each book becomes a portal to another world where you will face unique threats. Inkbound’s stories are unraveling due to an unseen threat and the inhabitants of the Atheneum need your help.

very full game with a good variety of characters
Great game, with a fun gameplay and really polished presentation.
The game starts out fun enough. However, after several playthroughs, I've learned that your character never truly becomes stronger. You just unlock more build combinations to utilize during a run. It plays like Slay the Spire in that regard. The problem with unlocking new items that are not definitively better than other items already accessible, is that you consistently slim down your chances of ever using a build you know works. Everything is random, so you'll just have to wing it--take what you get and like it.
This game is amazing. Doing something else than other rogues. It is kinda a shame, that we don't get more content for it (or sequel), so satisfying tactical gameplay, highly recommend.
Easy to learn the basics. It is nice to play alone or multiplayer.
Pirated this game years ago and 100% it. One of my favorite roguelikes of all time. Its a shame it never blew up.
