Low-Budget Repairs

I expected it to be as in the first trailer, guess what? It's not. I expected a house flipper 1/2 experience, guess what? It isn't. The game forces you into this stupid, dumb and not enjoyable story, at one point early on you got to renovate a playground, those things are just.. Meh, for €20 this is almost a scam.

I am bit divided on this game. On one way it really fails to do what it promises to do, humor falls flat, whole being on chaotic side of alignments doesn't really happen, you end up doing jobs right and drinking still isn't a thing. Whole creative ways of hiding sloppy work aren't really there either. And what is there is interesting concept of trying to be renovation game, but really lacking polish on that end too. Though worse part is that we don't really get game that was promised, since I got sold on idea of you being chaotic, cheating, hiding sloppy work, but what I got us just regualr repair game, where youa re trying. Also tutorial drags, like it really shoudl be sending you on the jobs and just keep unlocking more tools. And whole ghost thingt just isn't really working in its favor. Real shame.

Game is NOT what was advertised at all, and as of latest update at time of writing no longer runs on my computer. I tried to be patient and wait but all that got me was outside of Steam's refund window. I wasted my money. Don't waste yours.

-Advertised as a more ambitious project. -play it -realize towards the end that it was absolutely not what was advertised. -Understand that its too late to refund. Ironic but lowkey funny. I think it was supposed to be this big ambitious sandbox game, instead they only managed to release half of what the trailers promised. I still think its alright, not worth the price at all but its alright

I really want to give this a positive review but there is just too much wrong with it. - Performance is shockingly, unbearably bad for how simple a game it is. - The fundamental premise that makes the game different (chaos/cheapskate renovation) is not fully realized - Objects thrown out of the window in your house exist permanently in some liminal pocket dimension outside of your window even though this is how you are taught to get things out of the house. - MOST EGREGIOUSLY YOU CANNOT PROPERLY PAINT YOUR HOME WITHOUT HORRIBLE TEXTURE ISSUES. I could forgive every ounce of jank in this game if the most BASIC function of renovation games was well implemented. Every stroke of paint you make on the ceiling will leave a large dark stripe or splotch permanently that shows through all other paint. These marks appear at the beginning and end of every brush stroke, as well as anywhere paint happens to overlap. These mark cannot be removed with anything other than plaster. When you do plaster, you go to paint again and the marks just appear again. If the end goal is to fix up your property, if that is the overall story endpoint, why can you not even do something as simple as …
