I have a particular attachment to this game because it uses a public domain CRT shader that I had made (it's off by default), so I'm undoubtably be a bit biased, but I do think that this is a good small game. 👍 I played a lot of the web version last year (perhaps out of a sort of narcissism for my own shader), but I like the additional levels added in this version, and I think that the difficulty curve is a lot more even early on than the web version, although it does get really steep at world 7 (I haven't been able to get past it). Great soundtrack, too. 👍

It's Bubble Bobble with deeper core mechanics, well thought out level design and most importantly a good variation in BGM tracks. Not usually the sort to get hooked on arcade style games, but the level design is fun enough that it's got me coming back to play more.

A retro game that feels like something you would have played in an arcade, with simple controls focused on movement, jumping, and firing. It delivers plenty of nostalgic charm without being weighed down by modern gameplay mechanics. The only real modern feature is the addition of screen filters that recreate the feeling of watching the game through an old TV or arcade cabinet display. When it comes to gameplay, there are eight worlds that you progress through in order, though each one can be replayed anytime after being unlocked. Every world contains around 20 stages, with each stage taking place on a single screen. The goal is simple: defeat all enemies using your dragon, which attacks by shooting fireballs. There is no limit to how often you can shoot, but there is also no auto fire or option to hold the button down for continuous shooting, so your button-mashing skills matter. The jump mechanic feels solid but not especially powerful, meaning you often need to look for openings and use the environment to your advantage. Very fun. Arcade style but with multiple worlds, which is a neat combo. Well thought out levels, and though it's got a simple setup you can do harder things for survival or try to do a score attack. Overall, a simply fun to play game, cute and well designed.

Fun simple arcade game similar to Bubble Bobble (clear the enemies, grab the bonus items). Score attack mode can be addictive trying to get to the top of the leaderboard. Catchy music, NES era graphics and easy controls. Great to have when you just want to kill time.
