As a backer, I'm sad to say I'm highly disappointed. Maybe it needs more time to cook. But unless you like big towns with widely spaced fetch quests that give absolutely no reward, and have nothing to do with getting in your robot and fighting other robots, you won't like this. Why is there a Dash AND a Dodge, instead them being the same? Why is the shield a limited resource we have to hope to find in the level, or hope is dropped by an enemy? Why did the bug where the gun just keeps shooting after you let go of the button, wasting all of your ammo not get fixed? Why is the fish tank I can buy fish and decorations for in the back hallway of a hospital where my character isn't even welcomed, instead of, I don't know, my room?? And why is there a fishtank, or a money system in the first place? This is a mech game, my money should go to buying upgrades for my mech, not a bundle of cilantro for a random NPC who doesn't even reward me with increasing my "mood" meter for doing a good deed - and WHY is there a "Mood" meter at all?? Why is the third boss a darn-near indestructible space ship that I have to fight while doing an instant-death obstacle course, and it's BOMBARDING me with a…

1. Explain the mood meter please 2. Ammo doesn't drop enough, money should go to upgrading the mech not random stuff that gives no reward 3. Good game play UNTIL "the ghost of Hamlet".... What sadistic jerk made that boss fight, I hope you stub your PINKY TOE, and both sides of your pillow are hot DAILY! I had to stop playing. Literally inistalled after spending more time against that boss that it took me to get to that boss. 4. What's the point of that quests with no reward... 5. Dash and Dodge should be combined... I don't know if I could actually recommend this game. It looks good it plays well... Until you hit a wall on Boss number 3...

EKP is a standard 2D platformer. It doesnt really do anything new or special and is pretty average for the most part. It has some nice elements to it and the Mech stages are fun. However the exploration sections + the MC and the odd looking artwork really bring the game down. It might just be a personal thing, but if the artwork didn't look so Tumblr-ish then maybe I might have enjoyed this more. The game is also very short too and can be completed in around 2-3 hours if you ignore all the dialogue. Tested this on my Deck - ran perfectly. Tested this on PC - ran perfectly. Game is ok but that's just it. It could have been better had a few changes been done

Finally!!! I so much desperately needed a worthy successor to megaman. This game is all I’ve been asking about for years!!!! I love the details, such as the light sword cutting through the environment as well as the enemies. The controllers are pristine, with a great feel and a very enjoyable feel of power and agility. Eagle Knight gets it right. I also love the sound design and music, very fitting. The intro is very interesting, it starts slow so you feel the weight of the situation, and then it releases you into the world as an expert pilot with many movements. It’s really delightful.
